Hi Mark, I reead the majority of your book but the Library wanted it back as they are refurbishing and will not be open again un til the end of the year. The writing was good but the premise eluded me. i did like the beginning but found mysekf lost in so many changes back and forth between the two boys. It was a tad bloodthirty for the kind of novel it was. Now this is only my humble opinion and I thought it was going to be somewhat different. We all write our stories as we see them through our own eyes. And if you read mine I expect you would say the same as the reader seldom sees things in exactly the same way. So, good for you for getting your novel published, a difficult thing these days and I expect there will be many who like it a whole lot more. Maybe book two will be more to my liking?

Hi still working throuogh your novel thouogh I am not into much reading at the moment, too much gardening so not your fault. Must Try Harder as teachers used to say. Goit another month from the Library

Well Mark, you know that I liked the first few pages and am willing to 'go with it'. It is a wild asnd wooly day today so no gardeming, alittle bit of card makiong but perhaps more reading is required, until I drop the book and lose my page to slumberland. The rain has come, it is dark. Maybe I willnot be able to see so well,

Hi Mark, I intend to pick the book upo next week though as I think I stated, I have 4 nooks right now. One I might give back unread and get out later in the year. I am trying yo finish The Lady Elizabeth by Alison Weir as I am enjoying it. Then I will try to read your book. Will get back to you on that O.K.?

I recently bought his book of short stories, Nocturnes. I've read a few stories from it, and so far I have enjoyed it a lot. They are dark and slightly disturbing, at least the ones I have read. I hope to read more from him in the future.

Hi Mark, lovely day here even though still chill, makes a change from cloud and rain, no wind to speak of either. It could all change in a minute though. Still no sign. I think I shall have to get on to the Library and see if their is any progress. Another author on here whose book I want to read has also been ordered. perhaps funds have run low. My reading has slowed almost to a stop right now. I have just finished The Marriage Bureau for Rich People, a light-0hearted Indian jaunt, and very interesting and informative it was too.

Sorry it took me so long to reply. I work too many hours right now as i am in retail. No i didnt pick it up yet and put it on the back burner. I will eventually i always do. I just finished the twilight series and am now reading the last HP which had been sitting since it first came out. Im thinking on moving on to Mercedes Lackey after that or the Mistborn tril. by Sanderson. I have a vast collection of fantasy since i have been reading it for some 30 yrs. My shelf only contains my recent reads. The Magic Lands looks and sounds very good and will no doubt will be purchasing in the near future. Thanks for the note. Happy Reading to you.
