I finished Night Over Water last night. I think I expected more action at the end, but most got out the way they wanted. I see you had John Sanford book in your list. I've read all of the Prey books, the Kidd books, and both Virgil Flowers books. You also liked Robert Parker. I've read all of the ones with Jesse Stone. I want to read the ones about the lady detective when I finish the one you recommended and the Follett books I have checked out.I had a Steve Martini book on my shelf. I'll get to it, too.
