Hey, Hi again DL. I left the new group out there for a while and nobody seemed into the coffe and donuts!!! LOLI took it off a week or so ago.Not all fish like my choice of bait! :)
Just so you know, I denied the request to move the collected works version of Arrowsmith. While I totally understand your reasoning, our rule of thumb is that if the book has the same characters, summary, setting, etc., it should be combined. Thanks for trying. ;)
Thanks for the note. Haven't quite read as many JD Robb as you yet, but have enjoyed those that I've read so far. Have got a couple on the shelves at home awaiting attention!
Okay, I accepted the ivitation, I'll start the discussion soon...Bo-Peep
Good suggestion! I have all the notifications turned on and I did not get an email. Thanks again for your help!!
It was nice being your friend for 2 minutes! Nothing happened on my end except that you no longer showed up in my list. Thank you for your help with this. I'm off to un-friend a few people.Happy reading!!Belles
I just accepted your friendship. Un-friend me and I'll tell you what happens on my end.
Hello DL. I see you post a lot in the Admin group and you seem very knowledgable, so I was hoping you could help me with a quick question. Is there a certain etiquette for un-friending someone? If I remove them from my friend list do they get some kind of notification, or do our lists just get reduced by one? Thank you, Belles
Wait, nevermind about that idea, you can use the group that you had in mind, sorry!Bo-Peep
Okay, so you could discuss this with me on one of my groups, that can be used for something like this...It is called Realistic Fiction, just get to it by using my profile.Hope this works out,Bo-Peep*I can start the discussion if you want...
I understand. E-mail me your e-mail address (my address is mail@christophertusa.com), and I'll send you the download link for the e-book. I really don't want to post it publicly :)Thanks,Chris
I understand. :)~LaserWraith
Ok. I wondered if you didn't accept friends, because I saw you didn't have any. :PFine with me.BTW, why do you not like the friendship part of Shelfari?
Dog Lover,I was contacting you about the "new" Shelfari Admins Group. I think that if no one starts acting out that option then it will never happen. I think it is a very interesting idea, and I would be ready to do something to accomplish it. I think that the people who think this is a good idea should contact Amanda. I don't really know her, but it seemed, through the post on "Shelfari Group Admins", that you know her better. I thought it would be better for you to talk to her and see whether or not she approves of this idea.Yours,Bo-Peep*I hope I will be allowed to join this group!**About the group we have already, I think we should continue on with it, so that we might see some other new people who are ready to be in the "real" group...
Hi, My babies are all rescues that range in age from 3 to 11. The dog in the photograph is my baby, Reesie Cup. Reesie is 6 years old and has been with me since he was 8 months old. Daisy Mae is chocolate and tan and is around 11, but we don't know for sure because she was a puppy mill mother who was abandoned at the animal shelter because she was too old to have pups again. Daisy is the sweetest thing on four legs. Banjo is the youngest. He is red and white and came to us after my husband went on a run to the animal shelter for the rescue and fell in love with this dog. Banjo goes to work with my husband every day. All three came from the same rescue in Charlotte, NC. We live in Raleigh where I am a state employee. My husband is an attorney here in town who idoes mostly small business and civil cases. My hobbies include reading constantly, decoupage, needlework of all types, crochet and jewelry making. My husband is a leather tooler and also does nautical knots of all descriptions. We enjoy kayacking and sailing.Marty
Is this some sort of sarcasm?
I think I found it on Amanda's profile, I believe. It was some months ago. Depending on what you edit, you will see Shelfari Librarians hyperlinked (Is that the correct word?) It is in the highlighted yellow section. I think it is only when you change the title or author that it pops up. I was hoping you would find it useful since you have begun editing quite a bit. :) I tell you I am happy no one has started adding to that group shelf yet. It seems to be a more conscientious group of people.
I just wanted to ask you, if you have found this group yet?http://www.shelfari.com/groups/10713/aboutIt focuses on the editing of books. :)
Why thank you! I just stumbled upon your group and absolutely LOVED all the books listed! :)My adorable little critter is a shih tzu-maltese mix named Simon :) He is 3 years old and must have been a lab in another life because he LOVES to go for walks and runs with me :)
Many thanks DL. you are my first new member. Free coffee next time we meet!.btw. I am the proud servant to two Jack Russells. Can't live without them.
