While revising the books I have read in order to add them to my shelf, I had a beautiful feeling of nostalgia and traveled back to those times I read them. What surprised me most was that although appearantely I have forgotten what most of those books talked about, when I flipped through them I found that my thinking system was consisted of the ideas contained in those books. Every time I ran to an underlined thought even though I didn't remember ever reading it, I was like: "Well, that's how I think!". Magically and/or gradually, I have become those books without being aware of that. Isn't that amazing?
There are numbers of books, however, that I had kind of 'stolen' from my big sister's and brother's shelves that do not exist anymore and whose titles I, sadly, can't remember :(. Also, there's a dozen of books that exist on my real- life shelf that I nibbled through but didn't completely read, so they aren't included in my Shelfari. Again, I didn't include the coming-of-age books I read during my childhood, but for which I have a special fondness - they were my friends at a time I didn't know what friendship was about...
