I am an Australian author with my first book currently out on the shelves in Australia and New Zealand. The book, Art Life Chooks, is a memoir - a 'tree change' story that tells of my desertion of the city for country life. But it is also a meditation on the balance between an inner and outer experience of life, talking about art, poetry, music and teaching a reluctant year 9 group of brash country kids about theatre.

Prior to taking up writing full time, I was a literary agent, a theatrical agent, a contemporary art dealer, wannabe painter, and somehow fitted motherhood in there as well. « less
