Welcome to 1001 books. You can keep track of the books you have read from the book, 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die here and join in the discussions on the books we are reading for the month (from the book) or you can argue the merits of the list as some enjoy doing. We hope you will want to join in our discussions. The current books are at the top of the list for that month. If there is any way I or Mossflower can answer your questions about the group or about Shelfari, let us know.If you don’t own the book the list can be found http://www.listology.com/content_show.cfm?content_id=22845. A downloadable list of the second edition is available at http://johnandsheena.co.uk/books/?page_id=160.
"Dog, I want you to come with me. Come along dog.""I call it 'baby crepe.'""Davy? Who is Davy?... I though his name was Truman!""People are particularly stupid today; I can't talk to any more of them.""But today I have ennui.""They're yellow and cute- I'll look like the Morton's Salt girl."
"The re-enactment- it's starting!!!""Hot mutton...""I'm not scared of your bubbies, rabbi.""Ahhh, I'm gonna get you, 'cause I'm a bad guy. Bah, I am menacing. Gafttsss. Panic, damn it!""You're a vicious trollop, you're a vicious trollop...""It's looking at me, Richard, the dog is looking at me!"
"Says the guy who yelled 'FINALLY' at the end of Love Story." Anyway. I should like to borrow Chairman Mao. And I'm gonna drive the bus, I don't care what anyone says. And see you soon. And I need to write my paper. And pack. And that is all. The very, very end.
Blarg, and that is all.
I love your books. I'm so jealous that you have time to read them. Sophie and I had a GG marathon, and I was thinking of you.
Hello, there. I love seeing what you are reading- it makes me so jealous! I would love to have that much time to read. However, I shall do that all summer. I saw an author today who graduated from here in 2005 and has just published her first novel. Isn't that amazing?
Hi! You should call me. I miss you.
