I've always loved to read. Lately I'm very interested in books about the history of Africa post colonialism; books about China pre-and-post Mao. Big fiction reader, but it has to be well written. Always looking for that new "have to read" novel or non-fiction or biography. I read in spurts. Lately I haven't had as much time, but when I read, I read right through. I've usually got about 3 or 4 books I'm working on simultaneously. Would love to get recommendations on good, well written, thoughtful books by authors with a unique voice. I hate to waste time on a book that isn't worthwhile. Don't like formulaic books. « less
