I think we saw the movie, but I don't care for nicole kidman and it seems like she was in it. Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I was not so enthralled with Cold Mountain. Let me know what you thought.

Oooh, The Hunger Games - loved that one. Have you read the second one yet? The third one comes out in about a month and I can't wait!
As for the other books you mentioned, I've read Snow Flower and the Secret Fan - I really liked that one. I liked Peony in Love better but most people don't agree with me on that one. I LOVE Maeve Binchy. All of her books are fantastic. My favourite is The Glass Lake. I'm not a huge fan of Gerald Lund - I don't know if I've read that one or not but I really hate his writing style for some reason. Pride and Prejudice is one of my all time favourite books - I hope you enjoy it! As for the others, I haven't read them or heard much about them. Let me know what you think when you're done!

I hope so. I love to read. I'm reading two really awesome books right now. Definitely my next two book club picks. See you Friday...

I noticed you just posted Left to Tell as a favourite. Isn't that book powerful? I still sometimes will randomly think about the things that happened and just start sobbing. So sad (and infuriating).

Have you read The Book of Negroes or are you planning on it? I really enjoyed that one. Also, have you read The Hunger Games, that's another one I strongly recommend. You could check out my book blog if you want more suggestions. There's a link on my regular blog.
