Thank you for telling me about it! I am addicted!
Hi, Stacy! I only noticed the bookmark a couple of days ago, when I flipped through the book a little bit. Just wanted to come back and thank you, again. :-)
Hi Stacy! Hope you enjoy the book! Let me know how you liked it!
Hi, Stacy! Blaze arrived in the mail today! Thanks so much! (You really didn't have to spend that much to mail it... you could have spent a little less for it to take more time. I would have been o.k .with that. But, thanks so much!!!)
Hi Stacy!I send your book out yesterday so its on the long way overseas :)All the books I send out go places I never went but want to go lolzI hope you got my answer to your PM because lately some ppl didn't get my PMs and answers to theirs!
Thanks, Stacy! Yeah, it's kind of cool to have all these books being mailed around the world, isn't it!? I know, every time I sign up for these swaps, though, I always try to make sure that people know there is at least one international person playing. :-) Or, even better, if it's mentioned in the "rules" that there may be international players.
You're book got stolen!
Thanks. This picture was taken at a really fun day at the beach. As you can tell by the bling, I am all about Jesus. In fact Jesus inspired me to grow this bitchin' mustache.
I haven't read that, but I looked it up and it sounds really good. I put on my TBR and I will have to get to it soon! 1984 is my favorite classic dystopian novel. Thank you so much for your suggestion. I'll let you know if I liked it :)
Hey Stacy we are doing a book swap in book chat hope you can join us
It's Secret Santa time at Book Chat
Hi Stacy, we're doing a christmas in July book swap in Book Chat.
Hi Stacey ~ thanks for the note :)So far i am enjoying it ~ i've only just started the book ~ but i think it's safe to say that it will get a good rating from me... i have been stuck in a reading rut lately, just can't seem to get in the mood to read... so this one is really helping me get back into it (yay! must be good :)i'll let you know what i think when i'm done... poor you with your Marley-ish dog... haha... you gotta love 'em though! so adorable. have you seen the movie? i'm planning on going to see it when i finish the book.now that i know you like dog stories, i'll let you know if i come across any other good ones... i have a few on my 'plan to read' list that i hope to get to soon. 'The Art of Racing in the Rain' i have heard is a wonderful read, told from a dog's point of view. 'A Rare Breed of Love' about a dog rescued from a puppy mill. And 'Together: a Novel of Shared Vision' which is a true story about a guy who goes blind from a climbing accident and the black labrador who after being given a second-chance becomes his friend and guide dog... they all sound like my type of book... have you read any of them? if not, i'll let you know if they are any good when i get to them soon... hopefully they don't disappoint me!i like to read most genres of books, but i have a real love of animal stories... let me know if you find any good ones that you would recommend :)
you're welcome :)i try to skim them too ~ but this particular review was only about one line long... and was near the top of the page... and unfortunately it was too late... i'd seen it, and that was that :(somebody had actually written a reply to the person saying that they she should be more considerate of those who haven't read the book yet... and i also had to add my piece to that... because i was very annoyed!anyway, keep in touch,jo
hi stacy...i just read your comments in the book discussion about how you are curious to find out what happened to the banished teacher, and thought i'd just give you a tip... don't read the reviews here for 'Rebel Angel'!I went and added 'Rebel Angels' to my 'Plan to Read' list today, and quickly read over some of the reviews ( i do this sometimes if i am looking for a new book to read, to see what other members thought of it)... anyway, one of the reviews was short and contained nothing but a big spoiler regarding the banished teacher... now i know about it, i'm not so keen to read it because it has now been spoiled for me! ...so don't read the reviews :)i hate it when people do that... a good review should make a person want to read a book... not give away the details, and spoil it for others :(

Hi SIS - I rarely go on shelfari, I am so sorry in the delay here. YES Middlesex is GREAT, you can ever borrow my copy if you like. I didn't care for Sedaris I much rather prefer Burroughs.
