“I struggled to get into this book... and ended up giving up. It is a shame, because I really did want to like it, as I was interested in the subject matter, and loved Gruen's 'Water for Elephants'. Unfortunately this book failed to capture me in the same way.”

“3.5 stars. Danielle (a.k.a. Cinderella), Talia (a.k.a. Sleeping Beauty), and Snow (White) band together to help Danielle save her husband, Armand, who has been kidnapped by her stepsisters.
It was a fun book, though for some reason (I’m not sure why), my mind did wander a bit, so I had...”
I think you've said it well - the idea might be better than the execution.
LOL! Sounds like I'll have to take a look at the author's blog!!!
Oh, I just realized this is the first book in the series you're commenting on! I actually just finished reading the second book (I liked this one better), and when I took a quick look at my review for this (not actually written 22 hours ago, but... let me check... oooh, longer than I thought!...
