When I was younger, my mind was full of adventure and I often wove all kinds of stories. However, after trying to put the tales on paper, I got so caught up in the detail that I lost interest and ended the story within a page and a half. Then when my oldest daughter was 8 months, I had a dream that I thought would make a fascinating story. So I... more »

I have not been able to figure out how to do that on here. Shelfari does not seem to be as versatile as goodreads.

    Hi Rachel,
I just finished The Dark Lantern, and I had very mixed emotions about it. You can read my review at http://jdp-news.blogspot.com/2009/03/book-review-of-dark-lantern-by-gerri.html and see for yourself if you think you'd be interested in reading it.

    I'll send you the PDF.

My ebooks are done by me. I use openoffice.org which is free and allows the user to make secured PDFs. It is an excellent replacement for Microsoft Office and allows you to do so much more. I also use it to format the HTMLs required for Kindle editions. I love it.

I think you qualify for special privileges. :o)

Do you want that in Microsoft Word (.DOC) form so you can use the highlighter option to mark the things you think need work? Or do you want it as a PDF and you can just enjoy it and give me feedback just like it's already published??

Hey, Rachel! Things are going ok, I guess. I just finished the rough draft on yet another Regency connected to the four you have already enjoyed. So now, I have three going through editing. Actually, Angel (the one about Adam's best friend Connor that takes place before Betrayal) was sent off to someone to undergo editing but another opinion wouldn't hurt. Do you want to look it over before it's even published? :o)

    Hi Rachel,
I've only just barely started reading The Dark Lantern, so I can't give you too much of an opinion on it yet. So far, it's been interesting, but it's' written in the present tense, which I find a little jarring. Odd. Anyway, I'll let you know what I think when I finish it. (I'll probably write a review here on Safari.)
