    Summer's gonna be a bit of a buzz: Vienna - conference, summer school here in Pécs, a few weeks with friends here and there, plus another conference is lurking up on me: I'm gonna give a talk in Amsterdam, early autumn, so I'll have to begin preparing.

    Job market is the same here: unemployment statistics worse day by day. Hope you'll find something though! :)

    How are you? How's your life going? I had a more than exciting year so-far: I tought two seminars at the University here in Pécs, one in Philosophy, and one in theoretical Psychology. There was also a lot going on: have been to a workshop in Leeds, was invited to give a talk at the Budapest University of Science, and the best is that one of my proposals got accepted to a conference held in July in Wien, Austria.

    I hope you're doing fine, drop me a few lines whenever you have the time! :)

    I had an absolute celebration-pack during the last three weeks (it's kind of hard to switch back to work) - we had at least six different reasons to party, both with friends and family. New Years Eve has been spent at a good club, dancing, having fun. What's a Baltimore club like? :)

    Sooo...how is your summer going? :)

    I went for a one-month vacation: two weaks on island Hvar in Croatia, then one week with family and then one more week at lake Balaton here in Hungary, with friends. Just partying, swimming, having fun, drinking nice wine and reading good literature.

    How are things going with you? Still reading a lot? I read three books from three nobel prize laurates and they were all huge: Jelinek, LeClezio and Herta Müller have all deserved the prize.

    Sorry I haven't written for a long time. I finished university, but I did not make it into a US PhD, so I'll continue here in Europe (Switzerland or Hungary).

    Did you manage to swithch schools? Where will you go to next semester? How did your exams go? When do you go home?

    What drew my attention were those first pages of "Sputnik Sweetheart" I had read at the bookstore. Once more I wanted to get lose on a good and unexpected story. I started with "Norwegian Wood". It is candid, odd, and familiar. And the sense of solitude...

    Hi dearest! A nice one to you too! I'm sorry I didn't notice your notice earlier :)

    Is everything ok by you? How is the new semester proceeding? I'm anxiously waiting for the results from the grad schools...which is actually not true :D I got so much to do, I don't even have time to think about it. I'm co-teaching a course with my supervisor at the university on Philosophy of action. Plus I'm teaching English to little kids in elementary school. Besides writing my thesis'.

    Hope you have more fun and time for yourself.

    Hey!

    How are your exams going? I'll be ready with my example paper and the whole application process is going to start at the beggining of january, so I'm getting excited. Where will I live next year? NY, Berkely, Pittsburgh, London, Berlin or Budapest? :)

    I had a little too much fun in the last week and 'am dead tired - overworking + hanging out and drinking wine is just too much :D

    So I'll just watch a movie and go to sleep early tonight. I hope you're having fun besides studying and going to some university parties. It's definiately good if you don't miss out on them in the few semester. Later you want have time for them anyway.

    Hey,

    sorry it would have been my turn to write, but I got tangled up in the net of deadlines :)

    How is the Uni going? Many new friends? Is there a good campus life? Do you have okay roomies (if any)? How are the classes? Whats your favourite? Read any good book recently? :D

    I'm going to apply to NYU, Berkeley and Uni of Pittsburgh, so I did a Toefl (116/120) and a GRE (verbal 550/800, math 620/800) and now I'm working on my application essay. Hopefully I'll stand a chance.

    I was in some nice exhibitions and concerts recently (this was one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74ZUCoao8Ks) and read some nice poems, but had time for no longer literary work :( I did my second teaching in high school. Some philosophy lectures on Plato and Aristotle were given and it was fun, I liked it. Plus this year I got elected as leader of the research college where I'm working besides Uni. So there was also a lot to do like organizing events, writing a new code, applying for a few foundings...

    Last week I got to a really cool freshman's ball where we had some great conversation and good wine, plus lots of dancing and fooling around which I much prefered the constant stress I recently had.

    It was a lot of fun! I'm glad I went even tho I miss quite a bit of work. I still haven't gotten around to posting the rest of my pictures yet! lol
    I'd love to go there around Christmas! I've heard it's so beautiful then! Let me know if you go there! I'd love to see your pictures!

    Disney World was a blast! I did get quite a few blisters and got extremely sun burnt but other than that it was a lot of fun! Thanks for asking! I posted some pics on facebook and I still have quite a few to post when I get the time! Have you ever been?
