I've currently stopped reading this. Not sure I will finish this series which is unusual for me but I just can't keep going on with these two characters. They don't intrigue me and it just isn't going anywhere for me.

This book completely threw me for a loop. I never imagined I'd love it as much as I did. It looked and sounded like a romantic fluff book but the dialogue was amazing. I've never read a book where it literally felt like I was listening in on a conversation. There are times when books sort of lose that connection for me while reading. I just can't "hear" it in my head. Not with this book! Loved it to the very last second.

Love love loved it! It was a unique twist to a storyline and it kept me very interested. I liked both the lead characters immediately. Some of the storyline with the friends seemed just placed in the story but it was still pretty good, just not believable (i.e. going to a foreign country with your friend but never hanging out with each other). I can't wait until the next book!

Add this one to my favorite's list too! I liked the different spin on a romance novel. Its not a rosey peachy love story. There's hurt, there's pain, anger and a lot of passion. There were times when I was so aggravated at the characters but this book held my interest and I really liked the POV writing style. Sometimes I'm not a fan of a male character POV because I just don't think female authors do it justice but this author was great at it! I really felt like I was reading something a guy would write. Oh, did I mention, there's an ending?? I can't wait to read the next characters in the series.

This book is on my favorite's list for sure! I loved, loved, loved it! Damien and Nikki are such a captivating couple in the book, they keep your interest, they pull you in and they don't do all the usual stupid stuff characters do in a book. They work out differences and communicate openly and you understand each characters thoughts and reasons behind their actions throughout without it being each POV. The new twist with Damien's character is interesting and I'm excited to see where it goes. This series is a new hit for me!

I started out with this book as a sample and knew that it definitely peeked my interest. I liked the plot development and writing style of the author. At points in the book I felt like I was was right there in the scene, it just makes you dive right in. There are a little bit more crude language in the romance scenes than I personally like but the connection is so strong between the characters and it doesn't feel like a cheap novel with no depth so I overlooked it. I am curious to see where this storyline goes, its not hugely suspenseful but I like how things are going with the two main characters and I like the strength the author has given Nikki despite all the pain and past problems she dealt with. She is very believable as a character. At this point its only speculation about Damien which just makes the book even more intriguing! Can't wait to continue in this series.

I didn't really like this book as much as the first one. I didn't care for Ethan's POV in the book. Once again, I found it hard to understand his character. There were times when I just found it unbelievable that a "hard" man could be that soft or express his feelings as much as he did. Just contradictory for my taste. And the storyline in this book just didn't really stir much emotion out of me. I could take this story or leave it. It didn't suck me in.

This book definitely kept my interest. It was a little harsher in language than I prefer but the plot was good and kept me reading more. There is something about the male character that isn't flowing for me though and I'm not sure if its because I just don't think his character is believable for his profession and past or what it is. It's a good series though and I will continue.

This book was amazing! It had everything. I don't think I've read a book recently that truly had everything that I would want in a book but this one did it. It will be a forever favorite of mine! I loved the writing style and the outcome.

Wow! That was a powerful book. The mysteriousness behind Remy's character and the way he wanted to wait until Brooke knew him better was a nice change between books that just jump right in after the first chapter or two. The romantic scenes were definitely hot but this book had a realness (no pun intended) to it that kept me coming back for more. I loved it and I can't wait to read the next one in the series. The only weird thing was the licking like a lion. That was odd to me LOL
