CJ, I have not dropped off the face of the earth. My PC is mad at me and wont turn on. I am forced into getting to know my laptop. As a result I dont have my address book or your book. I was wondering how to get in touch with you when I thought of this method. Hopefully my son will figure out why my PC doesnt want to turn on then I can get back to my favorite passtime...reading your book If you email me I can then get your email on my laptop. Hope all is well. Looks stormy up by you. We are in heaven here.

    Hi cj,

I use the ebookwise (www.ebookwise.com). Sometimes I use my pda (Dell Axim X51v) which runs mobipocket. I had a long struggle with Adobe Reader on my pda and finally gave it up--it just would not run properly. The ebookwise can import html and txt files, but not Adobe.

Sorry I am not on Shelfari very often. I'm spending more time (still not lots of time) at LibraryThing, actually.

Went to Patagonia, AZ to a Friends of the Library Author Fest saturday. Met a lot of authors from AZ. One was Elizabeth Gunn. She write police mysteries. Her best know series is Jake Hines Mysteries that take place in Minnesota. Her new series takes place in Tucson. The first of these is COOL IN TUCSON. Concerns homicide and drugs. Think my son Jim, NARC Det. will like to read it. Got books by other mystery writers as well. As if I need anymore books on my TBR shelf!

Just checking in. I am smiling because I was a die-hard book-in-hand reader (still am) until I was presented with a book very worthy of reading online. Have a good day!

Haha! You know whats funny? That so many people who spend hours online fiddling with this fabulous site think they CANT possibly EVER read a book in digital form. Its fantasticly hilarious to me, because I completely relate and yet I'm not sure why. Let me know all the outcomes. Good luck with your car...

Clearly you don't get enough email. You need to buy something online, or maybe sign up for some newsletters at slate.com or something. :)

lol. I am looking forward to your book! You see that I have moved it to "I am reading." I confess, though, that I've spent my reading time tonight browsing through other people's books. Now that you've enticed me with Oprah, I am wishing I'd just curled up with my laptop.

Sorry that fictionwise is too restrictive. I never looked at their author requirements before. I just like the company because they are reliable and they offer books in many different e-formats. But I can see why you wouldn't list your work there.

O.K., you're on the front burner now. I will be reading your book, and resting my eyes with the Sue Grafton Kinsey Millhone series, you know "A is for Alibi", etc.
