My kids have read them, i had to pry the books out of their wee hands before I could start! Considering it took about two days per book for them, i'm hoping for a two week per book schedule!

I picked it up and read the first chapter and realized I don't remember everyone's names!! Think I am going to have to reread the series! Did you have any problems picking it back up??

No, I've never read any of her books. Any recommendations to start with? You should read School of Essential Ingredients; it's very similar to Evening Class but not as good.

I love the new series feature on here!!! It makes it easy for me to find books I've read but have completely forgotten about.

Hey Annie - Pillars of the Earth is an awesome, amazing read but it's an epic that spans the middle ages so it's kinda like Pillars that way. Not a light hearted read before bed. It's about the construction of a cathedral - it's definitely something you should plan on reading.

It's a painting by an artist I love - I'm going to switch it to a book cover. I was just trying to update it and at the time it's all I had.

The sad thing is that they support me with my Star Trekiness/ Star Wars Yoda Freakness, I trained them to be good Tekkies ! They love the old shows, too funny. I am callled Yodamom. I have to check out your Avitar.
I got to see the first and second shows, free HBO this week. I agree when they try to follow a book it just does not come out true. I like the changes in the show, it works for TV. More drama, faster action. The first show was so different, I am not sure whjat I thought of it. But the second one, wow... The women dead in the car, Eric's tearing apart that body, them in the mall, Lafeyete may be a vamp ?, Jason religious fanatic OMG more trouble, and Sookie how dumb can she be ?????? I love the way Bill put her in her place. What a season it is going to be, and I will not see it till next May, when the DVD comes out. Fantstic lead on for the show, I am almost willing to sign up for HBo just for this show, almost.

I see you found a few Bill fans ! Are you watching the HBO show too ? It is so different from the books, and getting more so with every episode.
My kids and I ordered our Star Trek shirts last week, all science officer shirts, nobody wanted to be Captain, everybody wanted to be Spock ! LOL So we will be the nerd family, without a leader.
