    Congratulations on the manuscript! I appreciate you thinking of me very much but I am sorry that I cannot read any of your manuscript. I have a personal policy as well as a professional one against reading manscripts from new writers. There are many reasons for this and one being my own protection. It's not personal at all towards you at all. I get many requests to read manuscripts and I always decline. It's even on my web site. You'll find a lot of published authors may not be able to do this as well. Some who offer critique groups seem to be more open to the practice. It's just a matter of security and most of us have to be careful when dealing with others' work. There are some great online groups where you can post some of your work and get help and tips. I suggest Absolute Write if you aren't already a member. They have a great board for you to share your work.

    Good you are done with exams, nice to unwind for a while, I realised when your message went to email that i havent had time to read group posts for the last couple of weeks, I'll be glad to have a break too. Bungie is like a cat, all legs..lol guess his body will catch up soon.

    Well I think it's a matter of getting things done sometimes, if you are too busy with other things don't worry. Simply do them so that then you can get to the writing ;)

    Anyway if you still have trouble... lock yourself in the bathroom writing in the stangest places gets me going...

    I haven't wrote a lot either because I'm too busy with colledge too and I'm lacking the time to do it. And honestly I'm dying to end the two novels I'm writing because I feel like doing something different this time.

    Hi Sylver, its been in the 90's and humid for 2 weeks straight, I'm so over it feel worn out. Bungie's first walk was in my arms, he was shaking and it was still too warm anyway, even the evenings are warm. I carried him round the corner to an old ladies house (in her 80's) to visit with her maltese, made her day :)
    Working 4 days at one campus and one day in the city now, at least my weekends are free, the uni students finished their exams today i think as the library is very quiet.
    How have you been, I never seem to find the time to get on shelfari much at the moment.

    I'm hoping to get it better, but I didn't want to keep posting it (it seems kind of self-serving), as there are so many great writers who are good at showing and not telling. Maybe I could put some examples to help show the difference.

    Hi Sylver, was thinking about you the other day....must chat with shelfari girls and not wait for them first...yup hectic too...just had my internet upgraded so not stuck on a slow thing now..yay
    Work is crazy too, we move next week from one floor to the one below....all the books and computers etc, the week before the exams...oh dear i hope the students stay home to study, but i doubt it, we'll be inundated with complaints.
    Bungie is awesome, he does like his breakfast as 6am, even on weekends..lol He has grown so much already.
    I'm not brave enough to watch spooky movies :)
    Do you have plans for Halloween, we don't celebrate it down here, well its not autumn either so the whole fall thing is weird for me.

    I just wanted to let you know that I heard from the publisher and my final review date is in November. So, hopefully I will know at the end of November if they are going to publish the book. Thanks for being patient and hanging in there with me. This has been a process... let me tell you. Anyway, I am also on facebook if you want to add me there as well. I will keep you posted on the up and comings.

    My little Bungie has settled in so well, he thinks he's so clever diving off the back door steps or my bed giving me heart failure, hence his name.
