dear,

Welcome to Better than Starbucks! Look around, make yourself at home, start a new thread or dig up an old one or just read and jump in on the more active ones.
Not yet, though I own all eight books in the series. Four that follow Ender and four that follow Bean. I have over 600 unread books, so it's hard to choose what to read next. I decided to read this trilogy that in the U.S., each book was so long, they split each book into two parts making it six books. It's the Night's Dawn trilogy by Peter F. Hamilton and will be one of the harder series to read due to 1) the length, and 2) the amount of characters, which must be close to 100, since I have alot of time on my hands right now, it seemed like a good time to tackle this series, which will make any other series I own less scary cause I've tackled one of the biggest out there. I also read Lois McMaster Bujolds tales of Miles Vorkosigan of which there are about 15 books in this series, but these days like three of them can be found in omnibus's, since alot of the individual books are out of print and at the end of like book 1, it tells you the reading order. The thing about Hamilton's series is that while it is six books long, it's actually just one big book, not sequels that would normally follow. Treat each book as just a chapter in the big story. Look up the series in wikapedia and see if it's something that interests you, otherwise I got hundreds of recomendations when you need them and own like 45 other series besides the ones listed and the ones I've already read like Asimov's Robot series (I still got his 7 book foundation series to try). I also am a fan of great literature and have a between 200-300 literature greats, just check out my shelf, all the books I own, I put on the shelf.
Thank you for accepting. I hope you will also accept the request from me to you for you to join the Mystery and Detective fiction discussion group.
Thanks for the boost of confidence. Nice to know I'm not a total boob. Hahaha. =) You working on anything at the moment?
