I'll also admit, I'm an "on again - off again" reader. Right now, I'm in the "off" position. But when I find a really good book, lock the doors and pull the shades because I'm not leaving til' I'm done!

Did you read "Black House" by Stephen King and Peter Straub? It's a sequel to "The Talisman" and I'm reading it now (from the library). I KNOW I read "The Talisman" because I can picture it at our house, but for the life of me, I can't remember a thing about it. It is referenced in this book, but I don't recall any of it. Anyway, it sounds like "It" or a half dozen other SK books anyway. "Black House" is pretty good so far, though. Sometimes SK is hit-or-miss. I must have had too much coffee because I am Chatty Cathy in this note. Ciao.
One other thing: I saw a REALLY good movie last night (from Netflix). It was called "Bitter Moon" by Roman Polanski. Hugh Grant is in it. Boy was it good. Bye now.
I am a newbie. With Mom's help I posted the book I just read. Somehow I thought I could post an Excel file so I copied in abouty 50 books that I read in 2008. Butthat didn't work. I'll tyry it again tomorrow.
I love you and I hope you get together with Kev and his friends tonight. You are very kind to let them sleep there. that was notmyidea; the first I heard of it was when they came here from your house.
I love you Peg.
Pillars of the Earth is a good book. Margo and had both recently read that book and liked it a lot right before we met, so it became one of the first things we had in common. Margo read the sequel, WWE, and I started it but accidentally left it on a bus while on vacation.
I finished Joe College last night (and wrote review). It was pretty good.
peggy, i havent read *joe college* yet although i just received a used copy from amazon marketplace. i saw it on danny's shelf and thought it looked interesting. i will read it. i have a "reading project" meaning a little row of books on top of the fireplace. i'll randomly select a new book from the selection when i finish the book i'm reading, which hopefully will be in two days.
