I have read "Practical Magic" and I also love the movie!!!! I have seen it only a few hundred times! LOL

I have never heard of "Magical Realism". That does seem to make sense. I didn't know there was a name for it. Thanks for that term.

I have never read "Dance upon the air" I will look it up.
I am trying the "Demon Hunting Soccer Mom" series right now, I have the first two. So far its cute! Have you ever read these?

    Thanks for the info!!!

Hi, I saw that you read "Casting Spells" and "Laced with Magic"
I LOVED them both! I am so hooked! I can't wait till the next one.
I am not a "vampire book" fan, and I did try the first Sookie Stackhouse book and thought it was ok.
But for some reason I loved these other two books. Do you know of other books or series that are similar to these? I liked the quirkiness, fun, kind of chick-lit feeling of them. I don't want anything "hard-core" paranormal.
I would really love some recommendations!
    Thanks~Wendy

Sorry it took so long to respond to your invitation. I have been SOO busy it is ridiculous!!!

How are you? If you have a passion for YA literature, I suggest you read Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. I read it for one of my classes, and I loved it! I went out and bought the entire series.

I absolutely loved My Fair Godmother! What a great book. Im really surprised at how well written it was. A great story overall but Im just amazed at how much action there was! It never seemed to stop. It just got better and better as I turned the page. Thanks! I look forward to reading more books you recommend!

Ender's game was amazing. I couldn't out it down. The sequel however...it was hard to get through. I'll have to re read it because I stopped halfway.
The Fair Godmother sounds adorable I can't wait to read it.

Re: And Then Everything Unraveled. Not sci-fi. More like chick-lit/mystery, sort of Stephenie Plum goes to high school, only not quite that funny.

Thank you. I like my reading list as well, but I feel that I will never be able to read all the books on that list, even in ten lifetimes it would never be finished, because I'm always adding books to it. Lol. Oh well. Gives me plenty to choose from for what I want to read. :D
