I've seen the movie MANY times and it's probably my favorite movie of all time. I hadn't even thought of reading the book until recently when I saw someone else mention it. It's great to get people's opinions on the book. Thanks for yours. :)

Thanks for stopping by my 50 books challenge list.

Foundation's Edge was actually my first Isaac Asimov book...it was something that I had gotten through a "grab bag" type book sale at a local library, and since I don't necessarily mind reading series books out of order when I'm "sampling" an author for the first time, I kept it in my TBR shelf until I got to it.

I liked it more than I expected since I tend to lean more on the fantasy side of the sci-fi/fantasy genre. The beginning was a little slow, and the ending seemed a bit anticlimactic to me...the middle 3/4s of the book were the best part for me since it combined elements of sci-fi/fantasy and a bit of mystery/thriller together.
