Hey Ms. Fournier! I'm reading Atonement and I just got to these lines and I'm in love with them and I just have this inkling that the class was in love with them too, and you especially. "The reality was all too social, he knew; other men were pursing him, but he had comfort in a pretense, and a rhythm at least for his feet. He walked/across/the land/until/he came/to the sea. A hexameter. Five iambs and an anapest was the beat he tramped to now." :) I wrote it down in my writer's notebook. It is so wonderful. In other news I got an ereader and I hate it. The only reason I like it is because of the ease it will create and the money it will save when I head to Bennington (62 days!), but real books are WAY better.

I finished The Things They Carried. I really liked it. This one affected me more than the other books did. It's hard to get your head around, especially the way it was written. I have a feeling the discussion on this book will be really good :-D.
