I have been an avid reader for....let's see now, 32 years. Maybe longer, if I go back to my "Little House" days! Rosemary Rogers & Kathleen Woodiwiss hooked me on romance, and their books are still among my favorites.

Contemporary, romantic suspense, paranormal, erotica, and a historical every now and then are my favorite genres. ... more »

I recently read A Creed Country Christmas by Linda Lael Miller. I loved it. Her humor, wonderful characters and good story were all there.

    Very cool Teri!

It looks like a great anthology - and with all Lori's reissues, it's great to have something new! Especially a Winston story - lol...

Hope you enjoy it and please let us know what you thought!

    Hi Terri!

I see you have Lori Foster's THE WINSTON BROTHERS on your shelf and thought you'd be interested to know she has a brand new Winston story featured in a new anthology.

First Time In Print - DOUBLE THE HEAT

Sizzling all-new stories, including a brand new Winston novella from New York Times bestselling author Lori Foster.

New York Times bestselling sensations Lori Foster and Deirdre Martin and USA Today bestselling authors Elizabeth Bevarly and Christie Ridgway join together for this enticing anthology. With authors like this, readers get double the pleasure and double the heat. In these four sexy stories of mixed-up couples and mistaken identities, it's not about winning, but how much you like to play.

With a brand-new novella featuring Hart Winston, whose switch with his identically hot twin brother has landed him in some serious foul play, it's a safe bet that in the game of love no one is going to follow the rules.

    Excerpt at www.LoriFoster.com

If you get a chance to read it, please let Lori and I know what you thought!

I wanted to let you know this week's special guest at www.LoveThoseShifters.blogspot.com is author Barbara Clark who joins us to talk about her quadruple heart bypass in 2005 and how it improved her health, as well as the productiveness in her writing beginning with her Amber Heat paranormal THE DRAGON'S CHOICE written as April Reid.

Writing as April Reid, her erotic romances plunge into fantasy worlds where dragons speak and magic rules. Her readers have come to expect deep emotions, simple joys, and heart-stopping peril in her award-winning books.

It mentioned in the BDB Insiders Guide that she planned on writing a total of 10 books. She mentioned the six brothers that she had already written, then added Rehvenge, Payne, John Matthew & Tohrment. I've heard rumors that she may add more books, but I don't know if it is true. It sounds like she has a definite plan for the whole story arc which may not allow extra books. But, I would like to see Qhuinn, Blay & maybe even Lassiter get a book....or at least HEA's as sedondary characters. Lassiter sounds like such an interesting character.

I have lots of Kenyon's books but haven't read any of them. How do they compare to Wards?

Hi Teri, I finished "An Insiders Guide to the Black Dagger Brotherhood". It was very interesting. There was a short story about Zsadist, Bella & the baby. The dossiers on each brother were interesting. The author told how she goes about writing the series and what problems she had with each book. There were also some amusing interviews and deleted scenes. It just made me want to go back and re-read the whole series.

I bought the compendium when it came out but haven't read it yet. I'm going to have some time off work at Thanksgiving, so I plan to read it then. I know once I read it, I'll be counting the days to the next book.

Hi Teri, Wow, I just took a look at your shelf. I can't believe the number of books on there. And so many of them I've read or want to read!!! I didn't put many of my TBR books on. I just put on some of the books I've read and figure I'll add the rest later.

I'm waiting for J.R. Ward's next book. She has a compendium coming out in October. Hope it's worth the money.
