“Zoya is a touching story abt d journey of a young girl of 17 uptil she's 80 years old.
Zoya is a Russian, she is d cousin of d Tsar of Russia. The story begins during d Russian Revolution. She lives in luxury wid her parents, grandmother n her brother. Her best friend, Mashka is d daughter of Nicholas d Tsar.
Danger begins wen Zoya's brother, Nicolai, is shot by d soldiers, n soon after , d father, Konstantin also dies. Her mother too, is driven insane by d shock n is killed wen their palace was set in flames. Then Zoya, Evgenia her grandmama n their dog Sava [ gifted by Mashka] escape 2 d Tsar's palace. There too, d situation is tense, as d entire family is placed under house arrest. So Zoya n Evgenia n Sava, accompanied by their faithful troika driver, Feodor, flee 2 Paris 4 their lives, bidding a tearful farewell 2 their relatives.
In Paris, life is hell for Zoya n others, as they no longer have money. Everything was lost in d fire, except for a few jewels, dat they concealed in their dresses, n also an Imperial Egg , a heritage of d Tsar. They rent a small cheap apartment where d conditions r v v poor n horrible n live there. Their only friend is Vladimir, a former Russian prince whose condition is now so bad that he has 2 ride a taxi 4 a living. Wid their meagre income, life is hell 4 Zoya, until a new boarder arrives at their house 2 live. It was a;rite until d new Pay guest, Antoine, announces dat he loves Zoya n wants 2 marry her. Zoya immediately refuses as she doesnt luv him n also she cudnt think of marriage wen she was 19 yrs old n in such a poor situation. Overcome by grief, Antoine leaves d place. N now they r in misery widout d person who was paying his share of d rent. Zoya is ridiculed by Evgenia 4 refusing Antoine's proposal.
They live by going on selling their jewels until nothing is left. Soon after, Feodor passes away.
To earn a living , Zoya joins a Ballet company 2 dance, as it is d only thing she knows. D meagre salary is just enough 2 support them . There, she meets Clayton Andrews, a 40 yr old army officer n then fall in love. A few years later, Clayton sadly informs Zoya dat he wants 2 break up wid her cos hes too old 4 her. Zoya is angry wid him n they finally separate. But both r still in luv.
Then, Evgenia, after 85 long years of tough battle, dies n now Zoya is completely alone. D situation turns even worse wen Vladimir arrives 2 tell her dat Mashka , Nicolas n d tsar's family has been shot dead months ago brutally. Zoya's condituion is now so pitiable dat Vladimir is struggling 2 find joy 4 her.
Luck arrives in d form of Clayton, who meets Zoya n finally decide 2 marry n move 2 New York.
Life has taken a big turn now, Zoya is now into riches. She d Russian Countess is now on d covers of evry fashion magazine n tv. They r one of d most richest in New York now. Zoya is soon pregnant n has her first son, Nicholas [ nicky] n soon after a daughter, Marie [ sasha ].
But soon follows a gr8 slump in d economy, d Great Depression. Clayton has lost evrything on d share market n is now penniless. Shocked, he succumbs due 2 a heart attack.
It is terrible situation now , for evrybody is now poor, even d biggest ppl. But Zoya refuses 2 b beaten again. She does evry thing she can 2 , including selling 3 of her richest houses n all things in it. She moves wid Nicky, Sasha n Sava to a cheap one roomed apartment. Nicky is barely 6 yr old n Sasha 4 yrs
younger than him. As Zoya has 2 earn a living[ she is now somewhere b'w 25 - 30 yr old ] she joins a vulgar burlesque dance hall, where her job is 2 dance in scanty clothes n perform dirty dances. She is disgusted, but she can do anything 2 support her kids. Then oneday, while returning home, her entire apartment is destroyed by a fire, n Sasha n Nicky barely make it alive, But Sava dies. Now watever little they had is burnt. they hav only little money n Imperial Egg. Zoya leaves d Dance hall job 2 protect her kids n takes a job in a clothes shop where aristocrats shop. Due 2 her Countess background, sher gets a job there. She becomes an instant success there bcos of her excellent taste in clothes. Theuir condition now improves. Axelle, d manager developes a liking 4 her n takes her 2 paris 2 shop. There, Zoya meets Simon Hirshce n fall in luv n get married. Nicky is now 16 n Sasha 14. Zoya is 43. Simon is d manager of d worlds leading clothing line.
Zoya is pregnant n gives birth 2 Simon's child, Matthew. Then Sasha is completely spoilt n ends up home getting drunk.
Tragedy strikes wen Simon n Nicky r sent 2 War. n then worst happens as Simon is killed in war. But b4 dat, he had ensured dat they all live inn a gud condition n Zoya had started her own famous clothing mall, Countess Zoya. So, Simon's will gave evrything he had 2 his kids n Nicky his successor.
Then , at a v v young age , Sasha is pregnant n married 2 a guy who is just as bad as she is. Sasha's baby gal, Marina is left completely alone. Then , one nigfht, Sasha n husband r killed n Zoya takes care of Marina as her own child. Zoya falls in luv wid Paul, a official frm d Estates company but refuses 2 marry once again.
Finally, Nicky is married at 30 yr of age n names their first born girl Zoe, after their mother. Zoya is now 80 years old n hands over d custody of Simon n her Company 2 Matthew n Nicky.

“good book
Elizabeth,manager of Roffe n Sons pharmaceutical company, is gonna b killed by 1 of her own family....she tries 2 find out who it is almost suspects her hubbie Rhys n then at d climax finds ouy d truth....I got dis book outta d school library n read it”
