Hope the beach was splendid. I think you'all had one of the better times to be there. I started the Jennifer Egan book I mentioned, but didn't like it and quit about a quarter of the way through. I've renewed The Spirit Level and will finish that - not necessarily fun reading, but interesting and provocative. Trying to get back to some discipline in writing, but mostly journaling for now. The visit was lovely for us! Thanks!

Hey Polly! Thank you for visiting my library last week! One word of advice: Don't tell kids WHEN you're expecting a shipment of new books: they are absolutely beating down my door every day asking "are the books here yet?" There are girls who saw me carry in boxes and 'casually' asked their teacher to visit the library to exchange a book! I now must barcode and catalog a couple of items for tomorrow morning before school starts! :) I just cannot say no to anyone who wants a book! :) Cheers!!!!
