Hello everyone, well I would like to welcome you all to my page. I am fairly new to the shelfari community, yet I am learning my way around. I have been reading Kimani press and Arabesque for the past year, and I have become a romance novel lover…lol. I currently reside in Southern California, about 30 miles north of Los Angeles. I work in a dental office at this time, and I also attend college. I am going to school to get my BA in Child Development, with the hopes of one day being a Special Needs teacher. I enjoy cooking, which is my second major hobby. My family is big on cooking and over the years my cooking has gotten better and better. I love watching the Food Network to see all my favorite chefs do their thing…my favorites are Rachel Ray and Alton Brown, and lately I have taken a liking to Hell’s Kitchen. I love spending time with my husband, and family as well. I am looking forward to sharing ideas and stories with you all about what I read…I enjoy stimulating my mind in all types of ways…

A Return to Love: By: Marianne Williamson ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
