Yeah, Judy. He passed last week . . . I don't remember the day. But it was in the news and it was mentioned on a couple of the radio talk shows I frequent. He was in his 90s. 92 I think. He lived in Vermont or New Hamshire.

I haven't looked into Ms. Wuornos at all other than a single documentary my mom taped off TV for me. Funny that she and Coral Watts both come from Inkster...Inkster has never had a serial killer as far as I know, but the town seems to spaw them pretty well.

    Hi Judy!

A message posted appeared in my email from Shelfari stating: “Members are asking for recommendations about books on your shelf.” The book you were asking about was THE CATCHER IN THE RYE. I recommend this book very highly. It is of a psychological nature and the story grips you from beginning to end. If you do decide to read it, I would really like to know what you think of this story. I would also like to recommend Sartre’s NAUSEA along with my own book, HYPERSPACE. CATCHER, NAUSEA and HYPERSPACE have two common elements: they all confront some of the ugliness in existence without shying away, and they are all extremely well written. You can check CATCHER and NAUSEA at Amazon. If you go to
    http://www.hyperspacebook.wordpress.com
    you will read about HYPERSPACE.

    Stay in touch.

    Hi Judy,
So glad your legs are healing properly! Bet that's a total relief. It was a cold and damp day here in CA. I think it is suppose to rain tomorrow. We really really need all this rain. Thank goodness we're getting it. No I haven't read a lot of Sophie Kinsella. Twenties Girl was my first. I had to rent the Shopping movie as I could not get into the book. Have a good Wednesday! Tomorrow night is my local art group meeting. Should be fun! Take care!

Hi Judy, I went to your post and clicked on yes for you to read Silent Tears? I forgot the name of the book but the cover shows a little boy crying holding his teddy bear. That looks
like a hearbreaker but I want to read it as well. I don't know the name of the author. Let me know if you get it.....happy reading, Rita

    Hi Judy,
Surprisingly enough.. nothing. It's been a busy week here. Work is starting to get busy. My niece got married Friday night. Saturday I went to see "Young Victoria" with my very best friend from 2nd grade. Had a good time. Today It's a nice quiet day. Checking some email, doing the laundry and misc. chores. :o) I also must admit the three books "I'm reading" on my shelf haven't been picked up in over a week. I mostly read at night and have been too tired to even pick a book up. That's good and bad of course. But I'm sure this next week will be alittle different. Hope you are having a good weekend!

    Hey Judy hello on friday!
I have being out for lunch with some friends, and then went to do some shopping, I feel tired not sure why but I still need to workout so that is not so good :) Thanks for the recommendation on the book, I have a resolution to read one book per month in 2010, and am doing well for the one in January, I will make sure I include the one you are recommending. I use to work a lot, and got lay off from work last October, it was good exactly I volunteer my self so that was good. I did get like a year worth of salary, so now I am planning to get pregnant taking this opportunity that I am at home now. Wish me luck on that. Well have fun with the activity with the cats, that is got to be nice. I will write you again in any chance I have, you do the same if you can :)

    Good Morning Judy;
I like novels of love, and mystery. I have only being reading for 1 1/2 years or so. My family did not use to read at all, but when I started dating my now husband, I noticed how he enjoyed his reading, and so I started.
I live in Brownsville TX now, am 39 years and don't have kids yet. I am reading now EAT, PRAY, LOVE and am enjoying it much. Well write me when you have a chance and tell me about you.....I can see you like cats :)

Hello Judy. I am doing good. My Dad past away on Nov 3. He is no longer in pain, it was a long hard battle with Cancer.
Logan is a little sweetheart. My profile picture was him for awhile. I guess I need to put another one of him.
I just finished today Time Bandit by Andy and Johnathan Hillstrand. I am giving it five stars. Very good book about crap fisherman in Alaska. I started today The Time Of My Life by Patrick Swayze & Lisa Niemi. I can already tell it is going to be so good it is going to be quick read. What is Savage Grace about and who wrote it?
