Hi, I'm an artist and an author. My first book, "Blessings in Disguise/A Tale of Redemption" is now available. You can order through my website, www.garyryan.me or through any bookstore. Blessings is about seeking happiness but making just about every mistake in the book before finally getting the message. It's an exciting story and, hopefully, inspiring. Some people seem to think so. We've gotten good reviews. Max said, "My sister wrote a book and it took me a month to read it. I read yours in two days."

I particularly enjoy spiritual books and my favorite authors are David Hawkins (Power vs Force), Gary R. Renard (Disappearance of the Universe), and just lately, William Young (The Shack). My ongoing spiritual reading is "A Course in Miracles", which I've been studying for some years now. I'm beginning to notice some improvement. Let's hope it continues.

I live in Southern California and plan to get a sailboat someday. In the meantime I continue to write and work on paintings and earn my living as a concrete contractor. « less
