    Hi again,
Just viewed your shelf...I love Holly Black too. I just discovered her and absolutely loved Tithe and Ironside. Valiant was good but not my favorite. Just wanted to shout "HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY!"; enjoy your special day. Have a wonderful evening.

Thank you for the friendship request. See that you like erotica ... have you read Lora Leigh's Breed series ... Tempting the Beast, I believe, is the first one. My fav from that series is Elizabeth's Wolf.

I reread books sometimes but not very much. I have way too many books in my to-be-read pile and so I usually keep forging ahead until the need to revisit a book strikes me which like I said is not too often. I am pretty good at remembering books and thats why I dont reread often.
So you haven't started your book yet, but you will later on. And I hope you'll remember me and sign my copy of said book when you publish it. As for me, Yes I am always writing stuff. But I hop around from story to story as inspiration strikes so I have about five books I'm writing at once. Sounds complex but isn't in my mind. I do write paranormal romance and do need critics so if you would ever be willing to read something of mine and give an opinion, let me know. In fact if you want to see what kind of stuff I write, I have a blog I've started posting a story to recently. I put a new part on the blog about every two weeks. It's at http://ladyvampire.wordpress.com/ .
Time for me to log off and get some sleep here. Talk to you soon. ~April

Oh yes. I have a great many ebooks. There are a lot of great authors who havent made it to print yet so I have their books as well as ebooks by printed authors. It makes collecting them easier, as they take up almost no storage space. Because trust me when I tell you that I have books all over my house here and my bedroom looks like a library. Once the collection starts growing, its hard to downsize since its almost impossible to give up series and books you love.
I've tried to wait for the books I like to hit library shelves in attempt to stop the collecting madness I started here but truthfully the libraries here by me aren't stocking much of what I like. They usually have me special order the books which adds another week or 2 of delivery time. Or else the books are just not on their library system at all. So usually I end up buying the books in the end anyway. Oh well.
Glad you liked the review. I did the best I could. Tried to point out the important things. It's hard to write a review sometimes without giving away some of the book though. And speaking of writing, I read in your profile that you want to write an romance book? Is that right? Have you started on that yet? Just curious. I'm a fellow aspiring author too.
You take care and have an wonderful day there. ~April

I can recommend Storm Born higly. It reminded me of Kim Harrison who is also a favorite of mine. Since I see from your shelf that you love Laurell K Hamilton the way I do, you'll enjoy both Kim Harrison and Richelle Mead's new Dark Swan series for sure. As for other multiple lover books, you can try Keri Arthur, Karen Chance, Yasmine Galenorn and Lilith Saintcrow. But other then that, most of the paranormal books I have deal with finding soul mates or the hero/heroine tries to stay true to whoever they are with unless something happens. I never noticed that before either. Weird how your eyes can be opened by a simple question.
I've read one of Sunny's stories in an anthology a few months back. I enjoyed it and wanted to read more of her books/series but oddly enough I havent yet. They are in my to-be-read pile. I really should get to reading them.
Ah-ha! You asked me about Kim Harrison but I didn't see that until I read to the bottom of your post here. (Can you tell I am reading your post and answering as I go? Yep) Yes, I've read all of Kim Harrison's books! Great stuff! If you like LKH, as I said, you will enjoy Kim Harrison. She's a less dark version with more action and mystery packed in her books in my opinion. Also, the romance is not as intense as in LKH's books. But its well worth the read. And just a heads up on the series:
    1) You really should it read it in order
    2) As per your profile above, I should warn you that while romance is not a huge portion of this book, it exists and some of it might offend some people. In the book there is a slight woman lusting for woman thing going on. Nothing that would be too graphic..but enough that anyone who does not like this sort of thing should be aware of. It's a side plot kind of thing though. Rachel likes men, she just happens to be made vulnerable to certain things due to an injury. I dont want to tell you too much but had to warn you.
    3) The series gets better with each book so if book one maybe is not as action packed as you might want it to be, read book two before you give up.

Anyhow, thats my take on it. I love this series and the last book "The Outlaw Demon Wails" was the best! I am on edge here for the next book to come out.
You take it easy over there and I hope you post back soon. ~LV~

Thanks for posting back! I've read Karen Marie Moning's books. A lot of great ones. You have to love her highlanders! As for me, I've been into the paranormal kick lately. I also read more then one book at a time sooo...right now I'm reading the Hotter Than Hell anthology, The Accidental Demon Slayer by Angie Fox and Storm Born by Richelle Mead. All are great books. I'm especially enjoying the Storm Born book. It will end up on my keeper shelf and become a favorite book series for me. Have you read that one yet? ~LV~

I see you loved Valiant! It was my favorite Holly Black book! I loved Val, she was struggling with her addiction but managed to stay on track and do the right thing. I was SO hoping the author would write more on her relationship with the troll. He deserved a happy ending as well.
