I work in advertising in HR, Creative and Account - just had my 1 yr anniversary and still loving... more »

Hello, Dana. I’m the author of The Sandal Maker, a new novel about the public ministry of Jesus from a unique point of view, a little controversial at times, but you will see him as never before. It’s a story that will take you on a fascinating journey in first century Galilee. Have you ever wondered what is was like to live in those times? What part did women play in his ministry? Was he the first feminist? Were the miracles real? Why did Judas betray the Master? How does the gospel of Jesus compare to the gospel according to Peter and Paul? This is a “must read” for those on a true spiritual quest. You can read reviews at Amazon.com. I’m including a link to copy and paste. Let me know what you think.

I have changed the name of our group from Theology Forum to Walking With Jesus. I wanted a more loving , caring and sharing group. I would like for us to talk about Christian books that have helped us through good times and bad. I hope you will come visit. You are already a member. The avatar is a log cabin with snow listed with your other groups. Merry Christmas, Doylene

Haven't read The Sacrifice or Speaks the Nightbird yet. Both have a witch-trial theme, but I'm not sure if either are good books ~ they looked interesting though.

Howdy, admittedly my plan to read shelf looks to be sagging in the middle a bit. I typically use it as a holding place for books I notice on others shelves or for books that haven't been released yet. Every so often I run through the list and drop a few that don't look quite as enticing as they did when they got chucked up there ~ perhaps its about that time again. I'm pretty diligent with moving books from plan-to-reading-to-read, so if its on the plan list, I haven't gotten to it yet. The only exception I can think of is Greed. I picked it up at the library a while back along with some other books and just wasn't interested in it following the other books I just read. I put it back on the plan to shelf though because I still see myself cracking the spine at some point. Any particular book you where curious about?

HI, Dana. Happy new year to you. I enjoyed Twilight, but it was far more of a young romance than I thought it would be. I didn't see the movie. I'll probably read the others books too even though I read online how the last book ends. I'm planning on writing a book in this vein, but I think mine would be more scary (and it wouldn't be about vampires).
