Wassup!!

Thought I'd change this...ha ha. But!! I still love anime, manga, and horror as much as a giddy kid on Christmas!! Oh, Blue Exorcist... the anime season has ended (hopefully there will be a 2nd? Please, oh please!!). I hope they don't let us Blue Exorcist fans down like us other poor Code Geass fans who heard of the 3rd... more »

I have to say... Lovely Complex is one of the funniest shoujo manga I have ever read. My old 3 star rating has gone out the window (since I've finished the series), and it has changed to 4 star!
Lovely Complex may start off slow for some people, but I promise you that by the end of this book, you'll be laughing your head off! (unless your sense of humor is like that of Buzz Killington's[[ anyone get that ref? Kudos!). Seriously, this series is hilarious. Also, it has a lot of heart-warming moments, so enjoy it!

Being a fan of Marcus Sedgwick, my opinion might be a little biased.
This book was indeed very eerie- Sedgwick knows how to play up the creepiness factor! It is told with parts from the prospectives of Rebecca, Ferelith and a priest from the 1700s. This book explores the concepts of life after death, and is a great read. I had to stop myself, literally!! All the way up until the end, I was wondering what was going to happen to Ferelith, and the final results of the experiments that the priest spoke of.
It is chock full of suspense and again, creepiness. The angel and the devil, that's the creepiest part about this book. All in all, this is what I'd expect from such a great writer such as Marcus Sedgwick.

I absolutely love Blue Exorcist!!! I first saw the anime on crunchyroll (zomg! i can't wait till epi 24!! Yuki!!), and decided to check out the manga. Rin [3~ he's so cute!... *koff* in a different kind of way. It's hilarious and went some demon-killing, sword slashing and other fun stuff. Mephisto!!!

Bwahahahahaaaa, this book was so funny. I've only read one other of Shinba-sensei's books (My Bad!), so I was a little unsure, but I loved it all the same. The art's beautiful. I think the storyline's a bit erratic, but it's hilarious, so I liked it. If you like something more serious, then maybe this isn't for you.

Ugh... i didn't like the main character, or the vampire... or anybody else... the only good part was when i closed the book.

It made me get freaked out by a spiral everytime I see one. I'm an advid horror fan, and i have to say, this series was amazing, and kinda gruesome. I like gruesome stuff. After reading this book, I started saying 'don't look into the spiral!!'! I'm serious, people, you won't want to see another spiral after this.

I love Vampire Knight very, very, very much. The guys are hot, and the uniforms are very cool. I like the story, too. Except now that I know what will happen, I'm a little disappointed, but I will keep on readin'! Did anybody notice that Kaname's always posing?

This book was very good, but it kinda disappointed me. I like R.L Stine a whole lot, but I think this book was a little cliche-y with "omg, i wanna drink blood! omg, i'm a vampire! i wanna be human again!waaahhh!"
I liked the twist in the middle (or was it the end?) when (SPOILER!!) you find out that Livvy is a vampire.
Anyway, you should read it, but don't read the sequel. I think this book was best left without the crappy sequel...

  • My Swordhand is Singing

    This book. Is. Amazing.
It may not be the gross out horror some of us maniac horror fans are looking for, but it shines regardless of that! Creepy old European villages, vampires, dark forests, sword fights and grave-digging are all packed into this little book of over 200 pages. The eeriness of this book is something you can feel. In my earlier review, I didn't appreciate it as much, but now I see for my eyes are open!! *inspirational speech*

Besides all the blood-slinging and fang-bearing (also creepy elderly people), it has a very heartwarming ending. This book is beautiful!!
