In my previous life I headed up an International Executive Recruitment company, as their Principal Consultant. I delivered strategic and structured approaches for successful development and evaluation of leadership competencies and profiling. I was particularly successful in leading global search and recruitment for highly specialist leadership roles including the Chief Medical Office for Australia's Civil Aviation Authority, Chief Scientist for the National Water Commission, CEO for the Australian Local Government Authority (ALGA), also ASIO, Medicare Australia, the Child Support Agency and the Australian Federal Police's Asia Pacific Group on Money Laundering to name just a few. Through these and many more processes I successfully coached a number of executives through some rigorous and challenging senior executive recruitment processes, across twelve major commonwealth departments and agencies, as well as large corporations nationally and internationally. Along the way I gained a comprehensive knowledge of the Australian Public Service, Senior Executive Leadership Capability Framework and an acute understanding of how these relate to private sector competencies. So I've worked to assist people move internally up into a Senior Executive Roles (SES) for the first time and also external applicants translating their skills and knowledge attempting to step into a government role.

I commenced my career in advertising in Sydney working with a number of highly creative and high profile agencies, including the new business division of Clemenger, Sydney. From there over a ten year period I had leadership roles in public relations, marketing and communication, which led me to develop and lead numerous strategic national partnership programs, some of which included Tattersall’s, Toyota, Shell, IBM, BHP Billiton, PACCAR and NRMA.
I am an accredited member of the International Coach Federation Australasian Region with additional international certification through the International Coach Academy 'ICA'. I am also accredited by Human Synergistics International to conduct leadership assessments using their Life Style Inventory (LSI) and (GSI) tools. Using my Associate Diploma in Speech and Drama, majoring in Performance and Communication I like to deliver highly interactive creative experiences that offer a structured, dynamic and highly motivational experience, tailored to the unique needs of the individual or organization.
I live in a semi-rural lifestyle on a property north of Canberra and I particularly enjoy reading, watercolour painting, cycling and landscape design.
