Yeah, Ice felt very rushed. It was more of a novella and she spent much more time on the suspense, which was good and ignored the romance. I'm thinking of emailing Linda Howard about wanting another book connected to Burn. It's worked with some authors (Maya Banks new Highlander series and Lisa Kleypas may write another Travis book); it's certainly worth a try! :)
Hi Robin! I see you just finished Burn by Linda Howard. I really enjoyed it too. Did you think there would be a next in series after finishing it? I remember there being something about the ending that made it feel like it was "to be continued" (though I can't for the life of me remember what that was :)). And the next book that came out was called Ice, so I thought it was connected and was so disappointed to find out it wasn't and it wasn't very good. Am I crazy or did you have the same feeling at the end of the book?
