I loved it but I felt that it took a long time to get to the part of the story that I felt it was mostly about. Claire was a beautiful character and I felt that we knew a lot about her. Jean was such a part of the story, then disappeared, then reappeared, I would have liked to see him more of a constant figure. I honestly didn't see the turning bit happening with Henri and was a bit disappointed with how his character turned out. However I still really enjoyed the novel, ones such as this always take you to a place that you hope that you are never part of.......it makes you feel blessed to live in safer times.

I loved this book from the very beginning. I loved its format, the characters were fantastic. I was actually sad that it ended, I was so involved with the characters that I just wanted more although it was a very fitting place to end.
I didn't have any expectations from the Novel when I got it but I had read a good review about it and I also knew it was in letter form and this really appealed to me.
This is one I would like to buy and keep.

I was saddened to read that the main author died before the book got to print. Shes a brilliant author!!!

I loved this and it got me out of a reading slump that I was having because of another book taking me so long to read. I couldn't put it down and felt like I even wanted more at the end. First time reading any Sophie Kinsella novels but definitely on the list now.

    Love Walked in

Although it took me a long time to get into I loved this book. I got to the end and just wanted to start the next one straight away....off to see if I can get a copy today. I liked Cornelia although I had a hard time believing she was short. Clare was amazing but I found it hard to accept Viviana when she returned. It all seemed Bittersweet when Clares mum returned. An excellant first novel for Marisa De Los Santos!!

Deeply moving book. I cannot begin to understand the hardships that Celine had to face. The sad reality is that all this happened to her and right through until adulthood she felt that nobody cared....I was deeply saddened by Ronan and Kits deaths as these two people (as well as Anthony) were most accepting of her in life. Rape is something that nobody should have to experience let alone a child! I admire her courage to get through life and achieve what she did. God Bless you Celine!

I also read this one after reading Sabrina...didn't realize that it was the first one in the series. Got to say I totally loved this book and couldn't put it down. Another one of my favourites of Lori Wicks....it didn't dissapoint and I didn't want it to end. I truly find her books a gift from God.

A difficult read but wonderful to read a story of survival. I hope that Carolyn's future only keeps looking better and that her children grow up in a more stabilized environment than they were born in.
At times this was a really hard read...such oppression, Carolyn had to fight her way through everything...nothing came easily. Inspiring to say the least.

An interesting read about Mathilde's journey through depression. It was great to see her win her battle. Well written and nice short chapters.

At first I found this book slow going but about half way through I couldn't put it down. I loved that Rafaella found direction in the end even though it didn't end as I thought it would.
