Hi Al! I'm from the Author Author group and just wanted to welcome you to our group. As you might already know, January's "featured" author is Neil Gaiman, and we have two "secondary" authors, Ursula Le Guin and Terry Pratchett. If you're interested, you can choose a book written by one of these three authors, and after you've read it, please come post a review and star rating so the rest of us in the group know what you read and whether you liked it or not. Happy Reading!I know my welcome is a bit late, but we're just getting caught up!

Thanks for the recommendation on Saturday. I've had my eye on it for awhile. I liked Atonement, but didn't love it so I've been a little reluctant to try McEwan again, but Saturday sounds very interesting.Never Let Me Go is a book that you probably need to read 2x to get the most out of it. It's definitely unique and raises a lot of interesting moral questions. I'd recommend it if you like books like 1984 and Brave New World (I do!)
Big Al,You look like a man with a big heart. Right now, we can use your compassion because one of our members has posted Unhappy News in the group Mentoring Men. Please stop by and offer your condolences.Remember to check the discussion boxes so that you can be notified of new postings as you desire
Hunting Season stands alone. Some of his other more recent books have some reference to other books/experiences but each stands alone. I have several of P.T. Deuterman's recent books whcih I will gladly share with you.

Al, the title of my favorite P.T. Deuterman is Hunting Season. I had sent you a nte saying it was Hunting Ground.
I enjoy all of P.T. Deuterman. I like his characters and the way he developes a story. Spider Mt. was the best of his latest to me. My favorite of his is Hunting Ground. I really like the main character. I hope more people discover P.T. Deuterman. jim
I also enjoyed it. I thot it was strong in the way he presented the truth. jim

Please fell free to join in on the on-going conversations and to add new discussion threads. Welcome.
It's a small space on my schedule, but I managed to fit it in. I doubt I will be able to keep up with your pace in reading unless you wish for the house to completely implode along with our children and their school work?!
