Read the review for The Glass Castle
Almost forgot, don't forget to join my mailing list at www.christophertusa.com (on right side of page), so you'll know when my new book comes out. Thanks again,Chris
Thanks so much, Gilda, I really appreciate it. Since I’m hoping for a review, I didn’t feel it was appropriate to expect you to buy a copy, but I'm glad you did :)
I just went to Barnes and Noble and spent about 100 bucks. They didn't have several books that I wanted, that's frustrating! I ended up getting a couple from some tried and true authors, Lisa Jackson, Vince Flynn (and an exercise book, you won't recognize me in 6 weeks the book promises!). My picture is old, my daughter will be 14 in 3 weeks. She never got into Harry Potter, but loves to read, really into Twilight (of course) and Maximum Ride. What kind does Jennifer Donnelly write?
Let me know how you like Shanghai Diary. It sounds interesting. I picked up a Susan Isaacs book today. I haven't read her in a long time.
I just checked out your shelf, yup, we're the same person!
Yes, I have read most all of Greg Isles books. He is one of my favorites, Blood Memory being the best. I have also read a lot of Patricia Cornwell, started at the beginning but haven't read one in years. I liked how they followed the same character and her niece. Now I haven't read any Harlan Coben, I'll give him a try. Have you read Lisa Scottoline or David Balducci (sp?). I know there are others that I have read and just haven't thought of yet!
I think you will like Margaret Maron, especially the first, The Bootlegger's Daughter.
Gilda,You are my best shelfari friend, I am so glad that youcalled that day.
I haave loved Patricia Cornwall for years, Her books can scare the bejeepers out of you, but they keep you riveted to the page. Isn't reading the most amazing activitiy?Chris
Hi Gilda, I love you and I miss you. I also see there are a lot of books I have to read.
