A 19-year-old college student, who pretty much does what other normal 19-year-old's like to do, in addition to that I like to read. Oh and I also write sometimes: poetry, amongst my other numerous hobbies.
I'm not much interested in fiction writing, unless it's really really good, and so far I haven't read anything close to that. I'm much more interested in non-ficition topics: history, politics, philosophy, particularly the aspects in which they affect our normal daily lives. Nothing more I hate than stupid books that only point out the obvious and offer you nothing but platitudes, like we're all stupid and we need some guy with a phony expert's degree to point out obvious things for us. I would much more appreciate books written by authors who respect their readers and becareful not to insult their intelligence.
I'm open to make friends with anybody, no matter what faith or creed or political ideology you adhere to. I believe that we're all human after all, and all though there are differences between different people, I believe the things we have in common surpass those differences.
