It flows pretty well. It reminds me alot of his other books. They are facts in there but it is like a novel.
Hope all is well with you,Yes, definitely for the younger set - A good friend friend of mine passed me the book knowing I'm a big James Patterson fan. But I'll continue to continue with the series.Be well!
I just listened to the first two discs of FTW today ~ enjoying it so far.
Hi Matchew,Thank you for your kind words, and for your offer of friendship. I'll look forward to seeing you online. :-)Susan
I read the first 3/4 and listened to the others. I'm going to wait for thea/b of SHATTERED to show up at the library. STRANGER'S GAME was a verygood a/b.I have noticed that Amazon, among others, seem to be offering eBooks andpaperback copies of newly published books. The audio versions (and hardcovers)are hard to find. I guess publishers figure people will continue to buy books if theyare under $10 each. If they don't offer the audios, however, our librariescan't order them!
I just realized that the books are not lined up in order, for somereason. The PRICE was #4 in the series. STRANGER'S GAME wasthe latest one (#7). Sorry about that!
I see that you are planning to read the PRICE. That is the most recent bookin the Bitter Creek series:http://www.shelfari.com/o1517963830/tags/johnstonSHATTERED will be the next one. It comes out in late December. I have beenwaiting for that one for quite a while.
Well, thank you! I just read books that appeal to me. If I can answer,by all means, ask! I keep adding to the TBR pile, tho, I can't read fast enough to get thru that list! :)
Thank you for the friend request!
If you are in Australia it should be available at Dymocks unless they've sold out. The independents should have it, too. If you can't find it, let me know! Thanks for asking!Cheers
I first learned about Vooks yesterday. They were mentioned in a NYT Book Review podcast that I subscribe to on iTunes. The worldof books is fascinating and ever-changing in the 21st century!
I only know what I found on his page at this site:http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/r/david-rosenfelt/I think I first spotted David and his books in a section ofthe Barnes & Noble site reserved for coming publications:http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/results.asp?PUB=C&SRT=SI downloaded a copy of the first book in the series to my Kindle tocheck it out. I enjoyed reading it. I checked to see if my librarysystem had them in audio form. It did. Now, I am working my waythrough the series.
Thanks for the friendship invite! I see that you are a NASCAR fan ~Jeff Gordon is my favorite driver. The digital site that our system has is powered by OverDrive. It is slowlybuilding up its audio book selections. Our statewide library system sitesgive me the ability to get audio books on CDs from anywhere in the state.I download from iTunes/Barnes & Noble's new MP3 book site/Audibleon occasion. Since I am retired and I listen to about 100 audio booksa year, free materials are a must!
