  • Sleigh Bells for Dry Creek

I really enjoyed this Dry Creek book about coming home again, second chances, starting over, and a bit of a mystery thrown in, too. I'm looking forward to reading Jake's book now, Lilac Wedding in Dry Creek.

  • Mail-Order Christmas Brides

Mail-Order Christmas Brides consists of 2 stories: Her Christmas Family by Jillian Hart and Christmas Stars for Dry Creek by Janet Tronstad. Both authors deliver wonderful stories filled with endearing characters, and I enjoyed sharing in their journeys to their happy ever afters. Full of heartwarming moments, and Christmas cheer, too, this book is a recommended read not only for the holiday season, but for anytime.

  • A Family for Faith (Steeple Hill Love Inspired (Large Print))
    • Rated 5 stars

I absolutely loved this book! At times it was lighthearted and funny, at others it was heartfelt and touching. Missy Tippens created such loveable characters with Faith, Gabe, and Gabe's 12-year-old matchmaking daughter, Chelsea. This was a beautifully written story that I thoroughly enjoyed!

  • Lydia's Charm
    • Rated 4 stars

After the death of her husband and the loss of her job, Lydia King moves to Charm, Ohio to help her mother care for her ailing grandfather. Along the way Lydia meets with happiness, tragedy, and two suitors who want to court her. I enjoyed this story of love, loss, and new beginnings set in the Amish community of Charm, Ohio.

  • Not On Her Own

Another great book from Cynthia Reese. Set in Georgia, this book has a wonderful cast of characters. I loved Brandon and Penelope, who were divided because of family loyalty concerning ownership of the land that Penelope now calls her own. It was also a treat to meet up again with familiar faces from Ms. Reese's previous book, Where Love Grows.

  • The Insider

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Fast-paced and entirely captivating, this book was hard to put down. I couldn't wait to find out how, or if, Will would ever find a way to clear himself of all the trouble that he found himself in the middle of. Loved the San Francisco setting, too.
I'll be sure to look out for more books from Reece Hirsch!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book about empath Iris Browning and her reluctant protector, former marine Maddox Heller. Plenty of action, a wonderful cast of characters, a nice Caribbean island setting, and an exciting story all combine to make this one of my favorite Intrigues that I've read.
