First, things will work out! I'm looking forward to trying your place out so the longer the wait...the more anticipation. Don't worry!!
Now, Midnight! It was good, right? Were you surprised by how good it was? I know I was. I agree with everything you said...I am not a Muslim so it was a learning for me..so beautiful...I wanted some of thise bracelets!! One thing though, regardless where you live or what religion I think parents have forgotten they were parents and want to be friends and that is dangerous! I just love how even as a young kid his father respected him and demanded respect. POWERFUL! You know I'm ready to write Sister S and ask when the sequel is coming out because I was out of my chair like at the movie theatre when he said he was going to get his wife!! What?!!! Love it!
OK, I know this is way to long... I read A Thousand Splendid Suns and cried my eyes out! BEAUTIFUL!! You know I have a problem with all this reading! Stay cheerful!!
Sandy, please send me the info for your shop! I can't wait to check it out. Fun, fun!!I really thought it was good and a microscope on what is wrong with an inner city black male. Really put a spotlight on em. Good luck with the shop and stay focused! It's gonna be a huge success!!!!
I am not a big fan of Sista Soldier BUT my all time favorite 1st line of a book comes from Coldest Winter Ever. Having said that, Midnight is on my wish list!! Dream from My Father Natasha gave me. She read both of his books prior to him running. He is her ideal man and she hopes to find a clone while in Med school in Pittsburgh. Keep your fingers crossed for that one! Hee hee!
