I'm a member of a small, rather wacky family consisting of a British father who loves to grill, garden and gripe about corporations, an American mother with a passion for family, cooking, old movies and silly humor and a younger brother who enjoys theatre, history, philosophy and locking intellectual horns with me on occassion.
As for me, I have a degree in psychology, an interest in history, philosophy, reading in general and as yet little to show for it in terms of gainful employment save last year when I worked for Americorps as a reading tutor for elementary children. I hope to work with kids again. I enjoy a solitary half-hour workout every morning and tennis when the weather is nice. Despite my intellectual tendencies I am very vain and a bit of a health food nut. I'm also plus-sized with an hourglass figure proving one can be both so-called "fat and fit."
Also (WARNING) I am an atheist, just in case you can't tell from some of my books.
I have a great best friend who is like a sister to me in every way, except that we look nothing alike.
I have a sweet, smart and energetic boyfriend whom I've been seeing for give or take two years now. So even if things have been professionally slow for me, the personal side is good.
