Yep. I have read all the Dresden Files by Jim butcher including the prequel graphic novel Welcome to the Jungle. Only one I am missing on his series is the novella Back-up that was one of the supporting character's telling a story in that world with Dresden. I really enjoy Butcher's work, though I admit that I don't always like the choices he makes in some of the later books with the addition of 2 other characters. I like his Codex Alera series best (which is a 6 book fantasy series that is concluding this month!). I would recommend them to you though be warned that the first book, Storm Front, is the weakest of the series and the slowest. The sequels are MUCH better.

I enjoyed the trilogy by Cassandra Claire. I am always looking for new YA books and hers was highly recommended to me by several friends. Another one to try is L.J. Smith with her earlier books like Dark Visions, Vampire Diaries (which are very different from the TV series), Night World. Also, if you like witches in your books, Cate Tiernan has a great series for YA. Very addictive.

Welcome to 1001 books. You can keep track of the books you have read from the book, 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die here and join in the discussions on the books we are reading for the month (from the book) or you can argue the merits of the list as some enjoy doing. We hope you will want to join in our discussions. The current books are at the top of the list for that month. If there is any way I or Mossflower can answer your questions about the group or about Shelfari, let us know.
If you don’t own the book the list can be found http://www.listology.com/content_show.cfm?content_id=22845. A downloadable list of the second edition is available at http://johnandsheena.co.uk/books/?page_id=160.
