I was taught by The New York Journal of Books to use their formula--a summary, critique of the writer's skills, and hook ending. Many really just want an amazon customer review so I'm trying to write 'down' lol. We need both review types for promo.
Better yet, you should tell me how to gift a kindle copy to you. Just hit send a gift and put it your e-mail? I've done it before but forgoten how. I'll give it a shot now and see if it works. You can let me know if you get it tonight.
My e-mail is email@example.com and blog:
Hi Liz, I'd love a review--I'm so busy reviewing for my two review sites, Readertoreader and the New York Journal of books, plus blogged down with freelancing that I forget to ask for my own, except for the ones my readers give me. I have about 60 reviews but I prefer professional reviews like we do instead of the gushy customer Amazon comments. They have their place of course, and probably draw more readers than our properly formatted reviews. I can mail you a print copy or you can Kindle. Of course you can always have the PDF, but I hate reading on the computer.
Thanks for the interest, Micki
I'm a book reviewer too, free lance and for two sites. I'm aalso the author of a funny, poignant true family story of love, loss and survival called . . .And the Whipperwill Sang, if you'relooking for a book you won't forget. Nice meeting you.
