I have a pretty hectic lifestyle. Therefore, I enjoy reading to escape. I also love experiencing other cultures and time periods through books. That is why I rarely pick up books dealing with modern America. It just doesn't interest me. I have been known to make exceptions but they are rare. Discussing books is another favorite pastime....
