love you very much--trying to add 6 books just finished- hope to talk to you soon-- dad
I'm glad you liked Conrad Richter. The second book, The Fields, came in the other day. It's on hold for you. See you Sunday!
That One Hundred Saints book looks pretty interesting. I have been looking for something like that for a while. Is it any good?
Your shelf is looking pretty snazzy!
Hey! Good to see you on here! Heavenly is on here as well. I think this is a pretty amazing site. I review almost all of the books I read on here. I see you put Kristin Lavransdatter on your to-read list. That book is becoming one of my favorite books ever. At least on the top ten. The texture and quality of medieval Norway is so bracing, so wild and yet wholesomely familiar. Even though it only covers three generations of one family, it has an epic feel. The amount of detail, both historical and cultural as well as personal and emotional, is staggering, and very inspiring to me. Let me know whenever you get to it!
