Reading is addictive. The more I learn the more I realize that I don't know very much.

This was a wonderful read. Moira Young's writing took a few pages to adjust to, but the story line and characters were easy to love.

It sort of reminded me of Mad Max beyond thunderdom in some ways. The action was fast moving and exciting without being too blood and guts.

Throw in a love story, family dynamics, friendship and a small shot of magic and it leads to a sit on the edge of your seat read. I can't wait for the next book.

I enjoyed this book quite a bit. More than I really expected to. There were a few problems that I noticed in the editing of it and at times it reminded me of a few other books and Characters I've enjoyed.

With that being said, about a third of the way in I was not wanting to put it down. I couldn't wait to see which twist and turn would throw the leading character into another tail spin.

There were so many different eliments to the story line. I'm excited to see where the author will take it next. A love triangle is always a good hook for me and waiting to see who Delia will choose or will be choosen for her. Lost friendship and new trials that these enchanting characters will face next. Looking forward to the next installment.

This was a charming story. I haven't read a mermaid/merman book in quite some time. To be honest the cover snagged my attention but as I got further into the story line I realized how much I was enjoying it.

I would not call it a modern day splash. There is a sweet forbidden romance blooming between two of the main characters. Throw in a few bad guys, fins and a looming war and I finished the book wanting to know what happend next. In my experience wanting more is a sure sign that its a good story. Thoroughly enjoyed it and looking forward to her next book.

I hadn't read anything by Chloe Neill until I picked up this book. I found it entertaining. With the two stories combined the second one took up right where the first left off.

Lily Parker was the new girl, turned Adept (person with magic). She was quickly befriended by Scout on her first day. A wacky girl who marched to the beat of her own drum and does it with style. Along the way she meets Michael who has a crush on Scout and Jason who is interested in her. Lily finds that her parents have been hiding things from her and that there are more secrets and magic aroudn than she would of ever guest. Including vampires, ratlike creatures, bratty spoiled rich girls and strangly dark good-looking strange boys that seem to be following her and helping in a round about way.

Can't wait to read the next installment.

I read the first book in this series almost 2 years ago and have drug my feet getting around to reading the second and third. I enjoyed this book greatly. There are good twist plots and a good enemy.

It has numberous sex encounters, violence and love. The author has a talent of drawing out emotion in her characters that I really like. If I was to have anything negative to say at all about the book it would be that there are almost too many sex scenes. I know that sounds strange but sometimes the sexual encounters with the two main characters were so close together it seemed like there was no break, sometimes my favorite part of any story is the suspense leading up to the actual act itself. With that being said Joey Hill has written very eroticly love/sex scenes.

All in all I like this book alot. Strong female characters with stuningly sexy male lead character rounds out a good story.

Riley Blackthorne is a nice change of pace for the usual teen/almost adult characters.

I didn't read The Demon Trapper's daughter first. I will probably go back and read it at another time. Maybe before the 3rd book is released. I enjoyed this book. It was a quick paced and entertaining read.

There is romance, broken hearts, jilted love, and action. Sometimes I got the feel that Riley's character was older and at others it made me feel more like she was 14 or 15. All in all it was an good read.

I like a good fairtale. I would certainly want to read more about the fairy war that was about to happen and see how others in the story turned out.

I liked this story the only problem I have with it is that it isn't long enough.

This was a nice way to revisit the books without rereading them all again. I enjoyed it.
