Reading is addictive. The more I learn the more I realize that I don't know very much.

That sounds great. I am glad you had a good time. I thought the double decker bus looked fun. My husband and I went to NY for the first time in March this year for a long weekend to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We had a great time. My husband just loves the place. I enjoyed it too don't get me wrong but he talks about it all the time and wants to go back. I have other places I want to see that I haven't been to yet first.

I got my Kindle dellivered today. Isn't doing me much good though until my birthday. I promised my husband he could actually wrap it and give it to me for my birthday and not try to have it sooner. Oh well what is a couple more weeks.

A girl here at work is starting the Kresley Cole series and is buying those books. I will be starting those very soon. I ordered a book back on August 31st from Phaze by Emma Wildes. I have never ordered from there before. I still have not received it yet. I emailed them and got a response saying somehow the book has been sitting in Roanoke VA for about 2 weeks and they don't know why. The guy says he is working on it but if he has to he will reorder me another one. I was just happy to actually get a response and someone trying to help me with it.

I know good and well I am going to have to re-read the BDB series before the next one comes out. I don't think I will mind a bit though.

That is pretty cool. What kind of stuff do you write? Who knows maybe some day you will be a famous write like JR.lol Not really though...who knows. Let me know how your trip goes. I hope you have a great time.

I know what you mean about the relationship not working for some people but I guess it has worked for us. My husband and I are high school sweethearts. We have been married 30 years and together for 35.

I just finished Frost's Destined for an Early Grave. That was pretty good. I am looking forward to reading some more of her stuff. I really have been thinking about reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood books again. I just enjoyed them so much and sometimes when the girls here are talking about them I realize I don't remember a lot of stuff.

Hey Laura. Thanks for the early birthday wishes...same to you. I usually don't have any problem with birthdays and my age but for some reason this one bothers me a little bit. I think 50 just starts to sound old. I agree the alternative is not what I want either but it still makes me start to feel old.

I appreciate the tips on the free downloads on the kindle. I am very excited about it. My husband and I are the opposite. We share a lot of same interests and do a lot together so I guess that helps with making me not feel like I neglect him.

Yeah believe you me you will not be bored or looking for things to do when the kids are grown. The thing of it is they are still usually up your butt all the time and needing this or wanting help with that. But that's ok...that is what having kids is all about.

I just finished reading some books by Sharon Page. WOW. They were reallllly good. I am going to try Kate Pearce also. I read some excerpts on her website and she sounds very good also. I am reading another of Frost's books now. Cat and Bones are something. I already read the new Lynsay Sands book...it was good. I am anxiously awaiting the newest Kerrelyn Sparks and Lara Adrian.

Are you some type of writter or just going to these things as a reader. What is that all about?

I don't think I've read any of her books I'll check her out though, and yea i haven't seen the Percy Jackson series I can't wait till i see the movie. My library at our school has such a limited selection of books and the local library i have some fines to pay so I can't read that many books. I own shiver but the beginning is really confusing so i quit reading though. once my friend gives Shiver back to me I'll read it. I figured i would like it because I love books with wolves in them, wolves are my favorite animal haha. I don't think I've read Evermore, Night of the Solslice, Infinity, or Hush, Hush I've heard about them though and I would love to read them. What types of books are you into? all kinds or just specific groups of them.

Hi, and thanks for adding me back! :D No, I haven't read them yet, but it seems that everyone loves the Highlander series, so I guess I'm definitely going to check them out. I'm 19, so thanks for your suggestion, are Night Huntress series about historical romance, and why do you like them?

oo :) I'm not obsessed with vampire books but twilight was OK, vampire academy, house of night and vampire kisses were amazing you should read the hunger games trilogy there's a lot the author throws into the book so you have to keep up. One of my favorite series i read is the Warriors series it's about cats and they're in a forest. there are a lot of books in that series you should read it i cant wait to see the Percy Jackson movie, and i do the same think - i read a little slower when i get to the end. I'm getting into paranormal romance too but i cant find that many good series about paranormal romance

Yes J.D. Robb is Nora Roberts, her In Death books are set in the future but they are not Sci-Fi. The first book I read by Nora Roberts was Hidden Riches been a fan ever since.

Hey Laura. Sorry so late getting back to you...I had a busy holiday weekend and was off a couple days the end of last week. I look at this mostly when at work during breaks or lunch. My mom was a big reader too. She was always reading a Harlequin romance book. That was pretty much all she read and she read a lot. I guess I got it from her. It never rubbed off on eiter of my sisters though just me. I miss her a lot. She passed away in 1984 :(

I generally read about 3-4 books a week also depending on how much I read on the weekend. I try not to too much then and give my husband a little attention. He's a good guy...he deserves it.

I am so excited we just ordered me a Kindle for my 50th birthday coming up in October. We had to come to an aggreement though on how many books I could read on it. I told him I would still use the library and used book store and would not try to read everything through the Kindle. We would go broke quick if I did that. One of my friends has one though and she loves it. I am really excited about getting it.

I thought you would like Larissa Ione...I need to try and find some more of her books. I haven't tried the Sookie books yet but I think I may have told you I am on a waiting list for a co-worker of my niece's to borrow one and see how I like it. I get mixed reviews on her so I am not sure what to expect. I will have have to wait and see for myself.

Your Welcome, Yes I really like J.D. Robb. This is a series that you can read in any order, but I would start with Naked In Death the first book in the series.

I've read the fever series and it's also one of my favoruites ones. I've heard a lot of the highlander series but never really knew if it was worth it or not, or when to start reading it!! I'll give it a try then soon soon! =) By the way how's Clockwork Angel so far? I was thinking on reading it after I'm done with the book I'm reading now.
