What game...LOL. Best championship money can buy right? J/K LOL. We went to a few parties but this old gray mare ain't what she used to be. My thighs were hurting from dancing...LOL. So what are you reading? I just finished Blood Secret and am focusing on the Riley Jensen book now. So far so good, there is a hot new vamp in the picture that Riley is lusting after but she does that often....with her happy lil hormones and all ;). Hope all is well.

Just finished Dark Celebration...very good. I am into the Viva Ana books right now. Read the first chapter or so of Riley Jensen but I can't pull away from the Vivi Anna book...the CSI stuff is realing me in :). Yankees seem to be doing well ;p...they do deserve it though, they play & work hard, I guess LOL. What is the Zodiac series about?

Yeah, yeah, Yankees, whatever! LOL. I am reading the second one "Dark Lies" and it is good too.
Feeling sort of yucky today, bad winds out here and I have some bad allergies going on today :(. It was cold today and going up 20 degrees again this weekend. Our weather has been a roller coaster out here and I just wish it would make up it's mind.

I am listening to Dark Celebration on Audio by Christine Feehan and I really like it. All the characters have come together for a big celebration so it is sort of neet that they all meet each other.

    Talk to you soon

LOL, well Dodgers just went down the flusher....let's hope the Angels are able to stay afloat...LOL.

My oldest gets allergy induced asthma but she has been good so far...no breathing treatments as of yet. Decided not to get the swine flu vac for anyone (not enough info on it) most of the big doctors i.e. Doctor Oz are not having their children vaccinated so I changed my mind about that one. Girl, you need to get some major allergy meds and a humidifier LOL, keep those infections away ;)

I think the new Riley book comes out on Tuesday...have to double check. I have it on preorder. Also a book by Susan Sizemore comes out...I like here series too. Just finished Covet today...it was good. I like how she brought some of the same characters into it. Trez and Detective De La Cruz.

I just started reading Covet by J.R. Ward..I enjoy her writing style. I can picture things so clearly. I love that some of the characters from the BDB are in the book...(like Trev). I am just on the first chapter. I really want to read the new Guardian book when it comes out. Did you read the new series from Keri Arthur yet? Just wondering how it is. Well, hope you feel better by now. TTYL

I just started on J.R. Ward's Covet. I am waiting for the new Riley Jensen book to come out. I am also reading Tanner's Scheme by Lara Leigh.
Did you get the flu shot? I took my daughters and I also got one. They get bad asthma when sick so I always get the shot for them. This is my first time in years. I plan on getting the swine flu shot too. I just don't want to chance it.

Wowl, can't believe all the charity's you contribute to. That is awesome. All of the causes you listed are great.
As far as flowers go I have seen beautiful hurricane lanterns with flower petals all over the table. The lantern sat on a mirror and gave a warm ambient reflection. The flower petals were various colors and types. You had to see it to see how beautiful it looked. When I got married my florist transported my flowers from the church to the reception so I was able to save that way. The center piece was also used at the end of each pew so it looked beautiful. There are also tons of great ideas on line. A cute wedding favor is the Martinellis mini apple cider bottle with your own label. (Just soak the bottles, remove the original label and place your own)

Hope you feel better, take your vitamin C :)

Sounds like you are on the right track. It is great that you are going to donate to make a wish foundation. We had a good friend that cheered with my duaghter's who recently died from cancer at age 13....very difficult. Her mother is the cheer director and the sweetest woman I know. My girls have donated to locks of love 3 times already. My sister-in-law age 34 had a double masectomy at 32 and is fighting the fight. Guess you touched one of my soft spots and it is so wonderful to see people making a selfless act on their special day.

I am sure the flower thing will work out...the numbers add up and before you know it you are past the 15,000 mark.

So watcha reading now. I am still reading the Guardian book but I am also reading The Killing Game by Johansen. I started listening to Undead and Unwed on my mp3 player...very funny. Talk to you soon, and don't let the wedding stress you out :)

WHATS AN EXPO!!! IT'S LIKE DISNEYLAND FOR SCRAPBOOKERS. You could find all sorts of great stuff there. All sorts of vendors from all the different companies go and you can get great deals on products and even some items that are not on the market yet like new cricut cartridges, stickers, papers, tools you name it. They also have tons of classes and crops. I am doing the all day/night crop with a bunch of my friends. The one out hear is "Scrapbook Expo" but it goes nation wide. There are other scrapbook expos too. You can find a listing in the back of some of the scrapbook magazines like "Creating Keepsakes".

My husband and I bought our house and planned a wedding too so I feel your pain. My advice would be to spend most of your money on the house and less on the wedding. Just don't skimp on the photographer because in the end that is all you really have left from the wedding. I wish we would of had a small wedding and gone on a great exotic honeymoon instead. Just something to think about. I have been happily married for almost 12 years but if I could do it over I would not have done so much with the flowers, favors, and all the little things that seem to be forgotten in the long run. I did the bubble thing too...oh well, live and learn :)

I am a diehard scrapbooker...spoiled one at that when it comes to scrapbooking. If my husband only knew the true value of my scrapbook room inventory I am sure I would be in a shallow grave somewhere right now LOL. There is an expo out here in October so I am trying to be good til then :(. I have been doing more reading than scrapbooking though. My girls do not bug me when I read but as soon as I start to scrapbook they bug bug bug.

I am having a hard time getting through Keri Arthur's Deadly Desires as of late. I am just not feeling this one. Guess it is the lack of action. I am at the part where she just took Joe (teen boy) to the safe house. I will keep at it though.

LOL, I have Janet Evanovich on my Kindle, the first book in her series. Someone recommended it and since I always have my kindle with me I downloaded it right then and there. I am so impulsive when it comes to books. :) Going to check out Wendy Rober. I am reading the Guardian book where Kye is an investigator. Starting out slow but I will keep at it since Quinn is in the picture again.

Yes, I'll agree that libraries can be very useful. I just picked up a Kim Harrison from my library the other day. Unfortunately, since my book is so new, most libraries don't have it yet. Oh well

19!! Now I almost fell out of my chair. I do look young for some reason. People are usually surprised at my age. I'm actually 37. I think I was 35 when my profile pic was taken and the only change in me is that my hair is a bit longer. LOL Thanks, you've made my day!

Congrats on getting married! Hubby and I got married in (what I call) the Las Vegas of the South. That would be Gatlinburg, TN. Wedding chapels are all over the place in Gatlinburg but it was great! We gave them $500 and they took care of everything. The decorations, the pictures, a video and all we had to do was show up with a marriage license and get dressed. It was the best and our pictures were great! I would get married there again and I'd still marry the same guy too and we've been married for 11 years. Good luck to you with your wedding, I hope everything goes well.
I've been really busy with my other hobby (I make cards) and have neglected Shelfari. I'm still reading though. I'll have to update my shelf soon. My kids go back to school a week from tomorrow, so I'll have more time. I read the 1st book in the Jaz Parks series by Jennifer Rardin and I liked it. The second book comes out (re-print) in August and how it is will determine if I continue with the series.

Thanks so much! Since I'm a new author, every purchase really counts and I really do appreciate the feedback. But that's nice that your fiance understood enough to let you keep buying Evanovich and Meyers. I'm guessing you would probably go into withdrawl without something new to read. LOL

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. My computer got infected with a trojan from Facebook. Yuck.

lLet's see, I like the early Laurell Hamilton (not the recent), Charlaine Harris, Tanya Huff, and Kim Harrison. There are also so many others I want to try, if I ever get enough time. I also like Rob Thurman, though those books are more monsters than vampires. But they are good.

Of course, in the course of shameless self-promotion, there is also my own vampire book Midnight Reflections, which you might like. LOL Sorry, couldn't help myself, my book only just came out in April and I'm still giddy over it.

Oh that's not sad, that's devoted, which is not a bad thing. I'm guessing since you finished it that night, that it was good? I heard from someone that Stephanie and Joe are taking a break. Is that true?

So, which vampire authors do you like?
