I am a mom to five kids, ages 10 to 2 yrs old, thus reading is sporadic at best. I often read non fiction in parts, or chapters, skipping around to find the "nuggets" if I don't have time to read the whole thing. I recently joined a local book club with other moms and we find ourselves at a loss for "what to read" in fiction as we have become so narrowly focused and find time such a precious commodity. I was invited to shelfari by a co-worker and find it a useful resource for tracking what I'm reading as well as looking for suggestions from others. In addition to momhood my intersts include MLM or Network Marketing, Financial Independence, Art, Animals, Developmental Psychology, and watching things grow: kids, animals, plants. « less
