Princesscjf

My shelf looks contradictory and it is. Smart person! I want to read the classics, I love sci-fi/fantasy stuff, but am young enough to like kiddie stuff. Ha ha I'm just weird like that.

Note to self: Griddles are hot. Don't touch them.

Okay, no planetary sci-fi!! If I run across anything not on my shelf, I will let you know.

What about psychic mystery/suspense? Kay Hooper has her "Bishop" series (also onmy shelf), that is really good.

Did you read Anne Maccaffery's Ship series or her Dragons of Pern series?

P.S. Take a look at my shelf. Majority of my books are tagged, so you could easily check out Eddings and L'Engle...sci-fi and fantasy.

Yes, the Lord of the rings Trilogy. If you don't mind, I might cruise through your shelf again, and make a few more suggestions. I am gtting the feeling you may be in your mid to late teens? You don't have to answer, but I don't want to insult you...

How about Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle In Time series (5 books). Very cool, sci-fi. I still read them and I am in my 40s! I am just young like that! LOL!

BTW, I peeked at your shelf. You have quite a collection of books, many different genre. Have you read Anne McCaffery's Dragons of Pern series, or David Eddings' series? They are both fantasy and definitely age appropriate!

I didn't see The Ring trilogy on your shelf. That's a great set of stories, also.

    Later...

    Good question!

An idiom is an expression you don't know from the usual meanings of the words being used, as kick the bucket or hang one's head.

Colloquialisms are used in informal speech, conversation or writing, usually found only in certain areas of a country.
