Hi, Sammy, hope you are doing well.
I saw you are reading "Passing." It's a challenging book- I read it for a class in graduate school, so for you to be reading it so young is very impressive!
See you soon.
Hey, Sammy, how's it going? I haven't been updating recently, but I had time tonight. . . I see you're reading some very interesting books!
Hi, Sammy. . . did you read "Of Mice and Men" for school? I teach it to my sophomores, and they like it a lot. Hope all is well!
Not a problem. Maybe when you have a day off, we can spend a day in the city.
Hey Sammy. I called you last week and I did not hear back from you. Give me a call over the weekend so that we can plan the New Moon night or day.
Hi, Sammy. How was the book "What I Saw and How I Lied?" I've heard a lot of good things about it- didn't it win the National Book Award for young people's fiction?
Sounds like you learned a lot about Dillinger, Sammy! I've also been to the Biograph Theater, but I still have to make a trip to the Chicago History Museum.
Hey, Sammy, I see you've read some books on Dillinger. . . do you plan on watching the film "Public Enemies?"
Probably Aleco, Me and his cousin Daniela. For Twilight we went to a downtown theater. However, if you Mom wants us to go somewhere closer to your house, we can look into it.
Yes, Maus is a graphic novel, or comic book form. However, it does not look like the traditional superhero comics. It is much more dense and thought-provoking than most popular 'comics.'
Hey Sammy! How are you doing? I was thinking, maybe your dad and mom might let you go see New Moon with us opening night. We could go see the midnight showing if you want. Let me know what you think about this idea.
The movie was more violent than the movie. 13 is about the limit that I think would enjoy this book. It's really according to how mature you are. The book is more of a love story and less action. And yes, the book is much better than the movie.
Your welcome, and yes, I thought you would find this website interesting. I update my shelf every time I start reading something new, and I try to log on every few days to see what my 'friends' are reading.
